What a great place for a skiing family reunion! The (admittedly college-aged) cousins enjoyed the bunk room, and everyone appreciated the short walk to the free Breckenridge shuttle. The dining room easily accommodated everyone for evenings together, and the house was big enough to find solitude when wanted. Thanks to the host family for sharing such a special family home!
Couldn’t be in a better location. Spacious enough to fit 9 guests comfortably, and the host was extremely quick to respond to a few questions. Would definitely recommend!
This was the perfect place to stay for a family Christmas. The house was decorated so cute! The room with fireplace was cozy. Communication was excellent. Loved our stay!
This house has all the basics and was in a perfect location, walkable to downtown Breck and easily accessible to the slopes. There's some quirky touches and decorations in the house but that gives it more character. Hot tub was great, having access to a garage was awesome- everything you need for a fun weekend, had a great time!
My parents, brother, and brother’s family like to meet here for a ski reunion. The location is great - two blocks from the free shuttle, one block from the sledding hill. The kitchen is well-stocked. The cousins love the bunk room. We enjoy eating together at the huge dining room table. We had a couple of small issues, but they were addressed immediately and did not impact the enjoyment of our stay.
The property overall was great. The manging company was available for anything. It is a short walk to the main street for shopping and food. The house as a very antique feel and multiple beautiful pieces. This house has plenty of space and is also stocked with some of the basics like trash bags a dishtabs which was fantastic. There was only one thing which was the beds were very hard. It was hard to get a goodnight sleep.
Stayed here two years in a row over both MLK weekends w/ friends. Sleeps 12 comfortably, tons of space. Super warm and cozy, great living room to hang out and do puzzles/watch a movie, enough parking. Good kitchen. About a 2 block walk to the shuttle on French to the lifts. Had a great time both years.
I've rented this property for a long weekend trip with friends for three consecutive years, and each visit has been awesome! Always plenty of towels, and room to stretch out. We love the location and how easy it is to get around whether by waking or taking advantage of the free buses Breck provides, and the amenities are great. The ONLY thing I ever really (constructively) criticized was the parking situation in prior years. The posting mentioned space for six (6) vehicles, but we had never been able to do more than 5. This year we were pleasantly surprised to see the driveway in the front plowed to allow for a sixth vehicle to park. Seems like the owner is willing to listen to feedback and work to make it the best experience possible for the guests! HIGHLY recommend this property, and look forward to renting in the coming years!
I stumbled upon this property in winter of 22-23, and had zero reservations about renting again for a weekend in winter of 23-24. The location is great, has plenty of room to comfortably hold 16 (if not more), and there is absolutely no shortage of extra towels and blankets! The ONLY thing I'd say be aware of is the advertised parking. There's mention of six (6) parking spots, "two in the front, and four behind the garage". No idea where the two spots are in the front. Those weren't to be found either time I've rented (just several feet of snow in the front yard). That being said, you can still stack four (4) vehicles behind the garage and one (1) IN the garage for a total of five (5). If you need more than that, you'll have to park at the airport overnight lot for $10/night. That is the ONLY thing I have found having rented this property twice. The hot tub is great, the kitchen is well equipped, big dining room table, mud room is perfect for storing wet/muddy things, and the three full bathrooms and half bath make things convenient for a large group! 10/10, and can't wait to rent again in winter of 24-25!!!
Check-in was a cinch and everything just went even better after that. The absolute perfect place to stay in Breckenridge if you have a large group. There were 13 of us and everyone was comfortable and happy with their accommodations. Don't know if we'll ever be there again with that large a group, but if I am I certainly know where to stay!
Our group had a great time! It was really nice being walking distance to shops and food. Only negative was the Roku remote in the bunk room was missing and the kids couldn't watch the tv in there.
This was the perfect rental for our group! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for a large group. The location was perfect, a short walk to the Main Street of town and to the bus stop to go to the mountain. The owner and management were easy to work with and we’re flexible with our request for early check in. I would definitely stay here again!
This property was a great place to stay for a larger group, lots of beds to sleep and there was an air mattress there too! The main floor was bigger than we expected from the pictures and there was a hot tub available outside! 2 blocks from the bus to get to the mountain
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! There is fun artwork throughout, plenty of sleeping space, even more then what is listed, the perfect space for gathering to eat and play games. The hot tub worked like a charm and the check in process was super easy. Also a close walk to everything in town from the gondolas to bar hopping to shopping. I highly recommend for a large group!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Breckenridge property. Mike, the owner, was very helpful and responded immediately when we had questions. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the indoor Jacuzzi bathtub. All rooms were exceptionally clean and we spent lots of time in the kitchen and dining room. We would definitely stay at this property again.
Property was awesome. Interior is unique and quaint but plenty spacious for larger parties. Hot tub and living spaces were awesome for post ski relaxation.
10 minute walk to the lift and 5 minute walk into town. Great place! Would recommend.
We were in town for a weekend ski trip at Breckenridge and Keystone. I had selected this house for location (walkable!) to the base of Breck as well as price. I wasn't disappointed by this house at all! The property was very clean and exactly as listed in the description. We had 12 guys on this trip and this house was big enough for all! What's not apparent in the description is that there is bunk room upstairs that sleeps 6-8 people or so.
We were about a 15 minute walk (in full gear) to the base of Peak 9. This was great and made it super easy to get to/from the mountain. I didn't personally go, but I think it's about the same amount of time to the gondola.
On the second day we went to Keystone. This house is about a 20-30 minute drive - not bad at all!
There is a grocery store about 4 blocks away and it came in clutch for some last minute things.
The main feedback I have is the parking instructions isn't clear. There is an alleyway of sorts behind the house (between High St. and Harris St) where the entrance to the garage and parking is located. Additionally, the parking spots aren't super clear. Fortunately, the neighbors gave us some leeway and let us park in one of their spots for the first night (right next to the garage of this property).
Overall, no major complaints. I would stay here again and recommend people to give it a serious look.
Stayed here from 3/10/23 through 3/12/23 with a large group of friends. We all fit comfortably, and even had room to spare! Looks like the place holds a solid 16 people between all the beds and sleeper sofas, possibly could squeeze a few more with some air mattresses. Kitchen is well stocked, and overall the amenities were great. The laundry room area was awesome for storing the whole groups' skis and snowboards to let them dry out, and the dining room was spacious enough to hold most of us at one time. Definitely no shortage of towels in the place, and the hot tub was a fantastic thing to have as well! My one and only complaint was the parking. Listing mentions six (6) spots, two (2) of which are in the front yard/gravel driveway. Our group had a full six (6) vehicles, but when we arrived the front yard/driveway was not plowed. We had to make it work, and even had to make appeasements with the neighboring property so we could park everyone in the back by the garage. Small FYI, the larger bedroom (has the multiple bunk beds, multiple single beds, a queen, and sofa) is over the garage. From the looks of it, the garage/this room are additions to the original structure. As a result, there is no heating/cooling built in. If there is, it's minimal compared to the rest of the house. They did have a number of plug-in space heaters up there, so make sure you get those up and running in the colder months unless you enjoy a 50 degree room! Again, great location, and just a short walk to the bus stop for getting to/from the slopes. If you're booking for the winter and will bring a lot of vehicles, might not hurt to double check with the property owner/management and make sure the front yard/driveway is cleared to park. Otherwise, a great spot and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again!
