Fantastic Mountain Getaway!

Excellent location and beautiful property. Minutes from Downtown Breck but has a great “up in the mountains” feel. The place is as described and better. We’ll be back!

Breck 2023

Overall...a very good experience for accommodations. Great location, well supplied. Our flight arrived much later than planned & the property mgr was very responsive (after hrs). Improvements can be made to allow for a better value. The mattresses in the two 1st flr bedrooms are uncomfortable. The comforters did not seem clean/fresh. The curtains & woodwork in the house are dusty.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains

Stayed many times in Breck, but first at this cabin. Larger, well taken care of property. The property manager Pinnacle was outstanding. Great communication and instructions. Comfortable with pretty much anything you could think of. Lots of dishes, towels, and beds. It was a hit with everyone. We liked staying out of Breck for a change to experience true mountain living. We saw a momma moose and her 2 calves 3 times. Once next door. A local fox was always close by. One day he came right up to the door looking in. Everything worked, the multiple TVs were appreciated too. Negatives? Not really. The wife and I got a bit of altitude sickness, which we have never experienced. Maybe its because the cabin is 1000' higher than Breck? Be careful with the garage door, it locks but still allows you to open from the inside. Easy to lock yourself out since there is no key to the house. Would have liked more than one pack of laundry detergent and maybe more spices. There was no salt which caught us off guard when making a dinner. That's all I can think of. Nothing major and with all the fantastic positives this is an easy recommendation and a place we will return in the future.

Great family layout

More roomy than advertised! And there wasn’t a gas fire pit, so we missed that. But the hot tub was great & there were TONS of towels!!! Well-equipped kitchen. Nice location. There were a lot of cobwebs but also a lot of games & beds. 😉. We had a very nice family vacation.

Great house close to downtown Breck

This property is really great! It has 4 bedrooms, 3 of which each have Queen/King sized beds, and one downstairs with bunks that can easily sleep several people. Would be a good kids room. There is a hot tub that was regularly serviced and kept in great condition. The house backs up to a national forest and included snow shoes which was really fun. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. We cooked for one month with the items there, although we did bring an instapot which helped. There is a wood burning stove in the living room which makes it really cozy. The house is ~5 mins drive from downtown Breck which makes access to the ski hill and stores/restaurants easy. AWD vehicle is highly recommended, the road the house is on isn't plowed very frequently and is very steep. We had a 2wd car get stuck once when a chain broke. Overall a totally awesome place to stay, very private and a super nice house, within 5 mins of town. Would definitely stay again!

This home was GREAT!

This home was all that we needed. The stay was wonderful for multiple families and kids in the bunk room. It was perfect for NYE 2021! If you go during the winter prepare for the roads, either a larger SUV or all wheel drive. We have to pull the other car up the hill to get to the home. IT WAS WONDERFUL!

Beautiful cabin high in the mountain outside Breckenridge

The property was clean, well stocked and had the cabin feel we were looking for. Beautiful views! We enjoyed seeing the local foxes and deer right outside our door. The cabin is located at a much higher altitude than Breckenridge so it may take a day or two to adjust. Four of the five of us had trouble with altitude sickness.

Best Thanksgiving Week Ever

Accommodating just right for our family of eleven. We wanted something with the secluded feel in a beautiful wooded area but still wanted to be close to town and this was the perfect place for what wanted this trip. Cabin is beautiful and I hope we are able to come back for another visit soon.

We had a great time!! Loved loved our new friend Wiskers ( the fox ) lol we also saw a mama Moose with her two babies.. only complaint is the water pressure which wouldn’t be a terrible thing if there wasn’t 14 of us.. overall it was amazing

Nice and comfortable house just 10 minutes away from the lifts

We enjoyed our stay overall. At the arrival we had some difficulties and no one was available to help us. We had to go back to Frisco and buy some chains for our SUV because of the snow. If you rent the house you need a 4x4 definitely. The house is almost at the top of the mountain If you like the forest and privacy it is a great house. The house is nice and comfortable but in my experience it needs a bit more of decoration or personal touch as it looks like it is meant just for business rentals.

Great cabin in the woods!

Plenty of room and beds for our group of 10. Moose family came to visit us twice. Everything was in great working order, beds comfortable and plenty of linens and towels. Easy 5 minute drive into Breckenridge. Hot tub was great. Kitchen was well stocked with all necessary utensils, pots & pans, etc. Master suite was huge and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE!

On a scale of 1-10 this was a 20! We were visiting my son, who works in Vail and wanted to rent a cabin, close enough to him, but not spending crazy money. We must have looked at 100 options before deciding on Snowshoe. The cabin was affordable, spacious and worked extremely well for 3 couples and a baby. With bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor, we had total privacy. We did let everyone use the awesome double whirlpool tub and the baby loved her bubbly bath there. The kitchen was perfect for 3 or 4 cooks at a time. The heated floors and wood burning stove kept us toast warm and we used the hot tub on the deck several times and especially appreciated the privacy of the woods behind the cabin. Since there was about 2 ft of snow, the gentle slopes made for perfect sledding for our 2 year old and we used the toys (snow shoes and sled) for free entertainment. We have rented private homes all over the world and even have owned our own beach condos, using them as vacation rentals, so we are pretty tough critics. I will say that this home completely exceeded all of our expectations! I would also like to say that Pinnicle, the rental management company was excellent to work with. We requested an additional day at the beginning of our vacation and they worked with us on that as well as a late departure, since they didn't have anyone coming directly after us. I appreciated that they are local, the staff personable and very, very willing to work with our changing needs!

Beautiful Breckenridge getaway

This is a lovely home! The downstairs basement has a clever set up for 6...the home is not only beautiful but gave us great memories. Decorated beautifully and far enough away from downtown to feel like you can get away from it all. A red tailed fox even comes every morning to say hello. Loved it!
