“This was our first stay with Our Lady, Mary Angeline, of St. Ignace, and hopefully, with God's grace, it will not be our last. Impeccable to a T, this property is like stepping back in time to a perfectly preserved victorian home. The natural woodwork, the furnishings and the cleanliness were all outstanding. And all with a beautiful view of the bay. The only thing I would strongly suggest is that all the beds are full size, which are way too small for a property of this caliber. Queen sized……

“House was extremely clean with comfy furniture and well stocked. Lester got back to me with answers to my questions right away. They even had local attractions and restaurant brochures to look at for making plans. The coffee, snacks and chocolate was a great treat!!! The location was great, close to town, and the trails. I couldn’t find the blow dryer that was listed. I didn’t pack mine because of the description, I was disappointed :(. A second bathroom would be great, but we made it work……

“Very convenient base to access all interesting spots in the Mackinac/St Ignace area. Restaurants, Grocery, kids’ park are within minutes. Very quiet for restful relaxation. A couple minor minuses; the oven would not heat up past 130, that made our home away from home cooking a bit interesting. A dishwasher would have been handy especially when staying with children. Overall, we all like the place and would book again.”

“We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling.”

“We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were fantastic! We would stay again in a heartbeat!”

“Had a broken toilet and was unable to contact the property manager. Link in the email did not work and there was nothing at the house. Left a note on the table but they never called.”

“The Red Pine was very nice, clean, cozy amd comfortable- we had everything we needed during our stay. Our time in St Ignace wA wonderful except we needed more information on how to work the TV. Also not sure if fireplace worked. No big deal because we were out and about but would be nice if thats something you're interested in having. We had a minor issue that we needed to contact the host about and she answered right away. We loved the peace and quiet the red pine offered- we enjoyed sitting……

“Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. This property offers a lot of amenities, including handsoap, some sample toiletries, and linens. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any dishsoap, but being inexpensive……

“This was a wonderful home. It was everything as advertised and then some. The location was perfect and close to the docks and restaurants. Very clean, comfortable, roomy and well stocked with the basics. Beds very comfortable after long days. We would not hesitate to recommend to others or stay here again if ever in this area again. A great experience for the four of us.”

“Our first time in the U.P. so we were going in blind. House was exactly what we needed for our group. If your looking for fancy, this isn't the place but definitely adequate and was well stocked with everything you would need away from home. The road is very busy and loud with lots of truck traffic so that is something to consider if you like peace and quiet. The house sits back off the road though. The secluded beach makes up for the busy road and makes the location well worth it.”
