"Everything looks not taking care of except for the pool. I booked for 3 nights with breakfast included and on my second morning there was not staff to make me breakfast, not even a banana shake when i asked. I have cero recommendation for this place."

"It was the worst experience ever. The pictures did not match the actual place or accommodations. The first night after checking in, we had to vacate as there were bugs all over the room. Being there was no staff, I couldn’t call anyone. Decided to leave and stay at a hotel. Came back the next morning to check out. "

"We could not have had a better place to stay since we were trying to be close to family but did not know what to expect. Our suite was very clean, but could have used a few things like towel racks, some place to hang clothes in the bathroom while showering, paper towels, and wash clothes. The food was excellent for breakfast. The pool was so awesome with a charming atmosphere. But the staff was the best part. So caring and helpful. Shernette, Russell and Doris over and above our expectation....

"Very unusual place to stay which is fascinating being located beside a monastery high above the plain below and away from the hurley burley of life. Well located outside of Port of Spain and above the main routes to the north east of the island. Charming and knowledgeable owner with a particular focus on birds and his wife could not have been more welcoming. "
