Would have liked an instruction binder accessible rather than pulling up online how to care for the residence and a list of local food delivery/restaurants would have been nice. “My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again.”

“We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.”

“We were a group of eight ladies all family . We had a great time. Several ladies enjoyed using the hot tub. The youngest enjoyed the tree house. Located in a quiet location where we could have some privacy was great too. We prepared most of our own meals and the kitchen was spacious enough for all of us to move around each other. The open concept allowed us all to visit together comfortably.”

“Our family had a wonderful stay! The pictures on the listing are very accurate. It is not a huge house but it was very comfortable for our family of four. My wife and I had a bedroom downstairs and our girls shared the upstairs bedroom. They loved having the “entire” upstairs to themselves. The kitchen has all new appliances and was well stocked. There was nothing I wish we should have brought. There was Keurig with plenty of coffee and a s’mores kit which was a great touch. We enjoyed kayaking……

“Our host Marianne made our stay very relaxing. She is very accommodating and very responsive. We like to hike with our dog. The property is located near several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Our pup loved it. The cabin was also comfortable enough for us to leave him behind for a short time while we went out for some shopping. We would recommend this property to anyone with a pup who enjoys the outdoors but also likes quiet at night. ”

“We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. The property is adorable, you are literally 2 steps from the water. We couldn't stop watching the ducks, different birds, a heron parade down the cove. It was also the perfect location to watch the solar eclipse, privately, quietly. The beds were so comfortable, the wood stove took the chill out of the main room, the quiet was just right. “We loved this cozy cabin. It had a rustic feel but was updated enough to be comfortable. Location was great, felt isolated but still close enough to town. Peace and quiet on the frozen lake. The kids loved the little reading nook upstairs. There were plenty of games and toys for them, and they loved tuning in the antique radio. We loved sitting by the gas stove.
