"What an amazing place to stay! Close to many activities but at the same time a lovely quiet location. Very well equipped with lots of DVD choices, board games and everything you need to maintain your stay. The beds and bedding was my highlight one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for years! "2 Driftwood was a perfect place to stay at the perfect location of West Bay. The flat is very new, immaculate and well equipped with all you need for a holiday stay. Only one issue we had was finding the meter cupboard where the key safe was located. This is outside of the rear entrance of the building at ground level. One of the residents advised us of the key safe location and said many other guests had struggled with this. Everything else was perfect and Iwould love to live there."

"The property is located on a site which includes a hotel and a group of small private homes. None of which is a negative. The area is very quiet, but you definitely need a car. The surrounding area is sensationally beautiful and well worth a visit and we enjoyed our trips out very much. The property itself was disappointing. It looked good on paper, but the moment we opened the front door, it was smelly. The smell was a continual issue. Every time we returned from a trip, it was as though...

"It tells you something that I was waiting in anticipation for the Hotels.com email just so I could get online and give Hensleigh House the five star rating it absolutely deserves. From the moment we were greeted at the door until the time we waved goodbye, our stay was first class. The building itself is beautiful with plentiful carparking out front which made access easy if needed. Inside, the bedrooms and ensuites were immaculate. Comfortable beds, windows you can actually open to let in fresh air, and decor some of the country's top hotels would do well to take tips from. Attention to detail was such that even the box of tissues on the bedside table carried the bird motif theme of the bedroom wallpaper. Downstairs, the shared lounge invites you in with its twinkling red lights and sofa you can sink into, and the bright breakfast room with it's big windows was a joy to come down to in the morning, if the smell of breakfast being cooked up wasn't enough on its own 🙂 Everything at Hensleigh House has the personal touch and the hosts were welcoming and friendly and made you feel that they were genuinely happy to have you there. I honestly cannot fault it and we will absolutely be going back again. In fact - I'm quite loathe to write such a glowing review in case it gets booked out!! "
