The villa was clean and tidy when we arrived. Check-in was quick and easy with most of it being done online before we arrived. The description of the villa didn't say that it had air-conditioning however it did in both bedrooms and in the living areas.

We would have liked air conditioning but the fans were good too. So beautiful and clean , pool was amazing and the rooms were very well equipped. Also Wayne is nice.

House spacious, needs some TLC. Definitely could use some screens on windows and doors. Couldnt get the cooktop to work, so had to improvise by using frying pans on BBQ. Great to have but the tray underneath needs cleaning. All the built up fat down under, caught alight and took sometime to put out. Would be great to have spare tea towels, one very thin one didnt quite cut it. Also a few beach towels would have been great. We travelled from WA and didnt want to carry excess weight. I think it would have been good to know that resort facilities were not part of the deal, when booking the 3 bedroom option. House is next door. Other than these things, a good place to stay, great outdoor area, close enough to drive to Amity Point and Lookout Point, best fresh Seafood to buy to cook, just down the road. Super helpful lady on premises when we checked in.

The property we stayed in was lovely. The views were gorgeous from the balcony. The apartment had everything we needed including a massive bbq and outdoor area. Only slight issue was one toilet seat was very old and needs updating and a few of the sliding doors need oiling. Other than that, everything was thought of and included. Communication on the day was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed Stradbroke Island and would absolutely recommend this property as a place to stay. The pool was welcomed at the end of the day after being in the beach whilst the tennis court was an added bonus. Will return one day. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I could have given all 5's for this property since it was off season. Lots to love, tennis/pickleball court, pool (small), excellent rooms. There were two issues. One was they had this killer dining/meeting area which was closed. Like I said, off season, but it would have been nice if it was open, no deduction for that, would have been a plus. Our room had a good, but not excellent view, Good value for the price, but not as good as some other units, to be expected. Any shortcoming were made up for by the excellent and helpful staff. I gave a 4 our of 5 for the area around, although i could have given 5 out of 5. It is a steep climb up from the grocery and beach, and overall, a near perfect score, the one point sort of summarizes all the little things. I would stay there again without hesitation, same room, same steep climb, same missing the really cool dining/meeting area.

The property is located in a fabulous area - close to beautiful walking trails, beaches and restaurants. The unit itself was in poor shape. Surface cleaned only - the curtains and lampshades had mildew on them, bottoms of chairs were full of dust and there was damage to the outside of the fridge and kitchen cupboards. The furniture was old and worn. The bedroom linens were clean as well as the bathrooms. Unfortunately, there was an infestation of ants in one bathroom which I woke to at 5:30 am and immediately took to killing so my grandchildren didn’t wake to see it. The manager sent a lovely lady, Lee a few hours later to assist. All she could do is provide a spray can of bug killer for future ants. When I spoke with the manager about my dismay at the state of the unit, he offered us a late checkout but no further action. I took many photos and videos to substantiate my experience. I would like a partial refund of the money paid for our stay. Please advise where I can send my photos and videos and file a formal request for reimbursement. Would NOT recommend this place until they replace the mildly/mildewy items and have a proper full clean of the unit.

What a majestic setting and wonderful stay we had at Pandanus. From before we arrived, the onsite Personnel clearly informed us of our stay, the features and even provided a island map with advice. Room were clean, large and amenities iseal to rest and relax. With a feont deck and courtyard breakfast and dinners were spent with views of the ocean and sounds of the local fauna.. a must stay!

Nice place very friendly staff.

No Air conditioning so I suspect in the middle of summer it would be very hot upstairs. It does have fans but I still doubt that would be enough in summer. Perfect in April as its not too hot.

Absolutely loved the ocean view from the top balcony, will return in whale season. Unit had everything you needed especially in the full sized kitchen. No complaints at all but you do need a car to get to all places. Two nights was not enough. Thanks

Great place to stay at in Point Lookout

Everything was great. The cabin is well equipped and the view is amazing. Close to beach and shops. Will come back at Pandanus as soon as I have a chance. Recommended!!

Didn't get conformation from Expedia .no emails or texts so i assumed i didn't book. I booked another hotel for the exact same time through Expedia and they charged me for both, even though i never stayed at Pandanus. Ripped off by Expedia again. Ill never use them again.

OK but some disappointments

Villa was quite spacious and comfortable. Interior wasn't new but it was clean & well maintained. On the other hand, I was disappointed in the view. The photos on the site must have been taken from villas in the front row. One could see the water from our villa but it was through a gap between buildings & then only from the (upstairs) main bedroom. Also, as others have noted, the Internet is poor. Basically you only get, at most, 1 hour of access. Seems just mean really.

Great property with everything we needed. A thorough clean would be beneficial as it didn’t feel as fresh as it should have. Restaurant Was great. Exceptional food and wonderful cocktails overlooking an amazing view of the ocean.

I booked this thru Expedia, PANDANUS Palms Holiday Resort, when I phoned a couple of days before just to check all was fine, I found out that I was NOT booked at the resort even though I had booked thru there web page, I had a confirmation email saying I was at PANDANUS Palms resort, their answer to this was "Oh its a unit next door but we could not put that on the Web site" So no we had no advertised amenities, no access to Pool, Oh we could go spend our money in the Restaurant, was very disappointed and will never stay again, the unit was dirty. Can't understand how Expedia can have this misleading advertising on their site either. - by this time there was not way to book elsewhere.
