I was surprised how clean and quiet it was. The staff were very helpful and even got us a ride to the airport. It wasnt fancy but a clean, quiet, safe, basic place to spend the night. I would go there again and recommend it to friends

The place was disgusting with food all over the ground and no sheets on the bed. When I asked for sheets they were still damp and was told to put them on myself. Did not feel safe and place was not in living conditions. Been traveling around the world staying at backpackers the last year and an half and this was the worst spot I have booked by far. Ended up booking a room next door. Highly recommend not going here.

This place is a joke!! Wotif why are you having them on your site!! We turned up to there not being a room for us .. they were overbooked the manager had been made to give up his room for someone to stay!! They offered us a mattress to sleep on if we were desperate!! The actual owner is a total egg!! He doesn’t let the manager take charge! We had to sit there trying to find another booking which we couldn’t do so drove an hour home!! Time was wasted plus petrol getting to this destination!! It was a total joke!! The manager was nice and felt really bad about what had happened! The owner was rude and should not run a business!

Horror and possible scam

HORRIBLE!!! Do not book!!!! Never in my life experienced such a terrible situation. Made a booking on the day I needed the stay. Arrived a 9 ish to check in and was told by the owner Sam that he did not have my booking and did not want to see my confirmation email (plus one asking about how my check in was?) and said that he only gets the information from hotels.com 24 hours after the booking is made on their website, so I could not use my booking and that he was fully booked. He told me to call Hotels.com, because it was out of his hands and he didn’t have a way of contacting them. After telling him my situation, he said he would take a look around the hostel to see if had a free bed, after waiting some time, I asked for an update and he said he was still looking and then just went to the other side of the outdoor area an sat down, he did this for more then three hours, changing his explanation every time. After the last new explanation he just drove off and left me with unequipped staff to handle the situation. This happened to six other people while I was there. A lot of misinformation about the place as well - there is no females only dorms, no 24 hour check in. Heard from other guests they have seen the owner do this multiple times and will extend people if they pay more and then turn away the new booking when they arrive, or offer them a sofa outside, so he can make more money.
