“We three lady friends celebrating birthdays were here for a super cold week in December with plans to walk everywhere, and we still did. Braving the cold, we enjoyed shops and restaurants nearby as well as a great musical at Barter theater. House was cute, cozy, and clean. Easy in and out.”

“It was a good stay. We were surprised to see the coffee pot was replaced by a keirog. It made pretty good coffee. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was very low however the shower was excellent. A very good place to stay. ”

“Willow cabin was a perfect fit for us (3 adults and 1 dog). Located on ancestral property, we are so glad we have Watauga River Cabins as rental options when we are visiting “back home”. At the time of our 5 night stay the cabin had been recently built and almost everything in it was brand new. Sitting on somewhat of a cliff (caution necessary) overlooking a 90 degree bend of the Watauga river, the cabin must provide one of the best views of any publicly available rental cabin on the river.
