Peaceful Vermont Woods Retreat on 10 Private Acres
Our home in the woods is truly peaceful. It's situated on 10 acres in a circle of trees. Windows are plentiful, so you can see magical woods and fields on all sides.
Private, modern and spacious, this home is perfect as monthly rental, especially for remote working in the quiet of Vermont. It's delightful as a family adventure destination during the summer or fall foliage season.
The house is spacious and enjoys being filled with people.
It has four comfortable beds in three bedrooms (one king bed) plus one daybed, two ensuite bathrooms and one downstairs bath. The kitchen is newly renovated, as is the master bath. Plus there's two dedicated work spaces for work-from-home setups.
There's plenty of parking spaces for cars, and fields to roam in if you want a short nature hike. Perfect for a family vacation or remote working experience.
Monkton was recommended by the New York Times article "36 Hours in Burlington." The nature is incredible here - the area is known for its birds. You can walk the fields and woods by the house, or go to local trails. In season there are wonderful farm stands and fruit picking.
There is parking at the house for 3-4 cars. The house is 5 minutes from hiking trails, 5 minutes from apple and berry picking, 15-20 minutes from water in the summertime, and 35 minutes to the closest ski area in the winter. The closest grocery store is 12 minutes away, Burlington is 35 minutes north and Middlebury is 30 minutes south. So much to enjoy!
This home is close to many hiking trails, lakes and rivers for outdoor adventures. Plus it's centered between some of Vermont's most charming towns.
