“We liked Sue’s cottage, it was comfortable and had pretty much anything we might need for a weekend away.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much, the environment was gorgeous views all around. And also use of canoes and board were much appreciated. Only thing to know ahead if you like to hike is that the only way to get on hiking trails is through entering the provincial parks. It’s unsure why that is. Never heard of this. Even a local hiker informed me of trails maps and re that fact. Just a heads up the information centre around French river may be permanently closed so it’s useful to search details of……

“We had a wonderful long weekend at Joanne's place. She was very responsive and accommodating. The house is lovely and spacious and very homely. The huge deck right on the river makes it perfect for relaxing, swimming and fishing and the hot tub tops it off! Would definitely stay here again and hopefully spot some bears across the river next time.”

“The property was a perfect little getaway! The cottage is beautiful. We loved the huge deck and the views to the water. The cottage had all the amenities you could want and Liz has all your basic needs stocked. The area is secluded and very quiet which is nice if you like your privacy. “I've summered at Georgian Bay for all my 70 years, and had to sell our cottage last year. This rental was a surprising delight. I particularly loved the multiple outdoor places to sit. Lots of privacy outdoors, if not in. The swimming is sublime. We saw lots of wildlife including a swimming bear. Everything indoors worked well. This is a way to have a rugged outdoor experience in beautiful Georgian Bay, with lots of comforts. I highly recommend it.”
