「Lovely, clean lodge, plenty of space and comfortable. Very peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped but one thing we missed was an oven dish. If you’re planning on fishing from the garden… it’s not worth it. Very few fish and all small, other families from neighbouring lodges also commented on this. Food at the White Heron pub at the entrance to the marina was nice and the staff were lovely. Had takeaways from the Bay Leaf Indian and New World Chinese, both were very good. Would book again but...

「Although it was a nice get away we didn’t expect to be so close to the owners home. We could hear them in the garden in the morning and felt it wasn’t as private as we had hoped. The hot tub is a nice idea but it took a good few hours to get up to temperature. We was under the impression fire starters/fire wood for the hot tub was included in the price having paid extra for the use of it but later found a note asking to leave money is an honesty box.
