Beautiful clean cabin!! It is private and peaceful. The cabin is located centrally to everything. And pet friendly ❤️. The host was easy to get in touch with and sent great directions on how to get to the cabin. I would highly recommend renting this cabin.

The cabin was perfect for me and my dog!! I loved the location to the trails to hike and the restaurants were all a quick drive away with one restaurant being within walking distance and they allowed me and my dog to eat out on the patio! I will definitely be returning!

Great location

Top three positives of this place are location, setting, and the private hot tub on the partially enclosed porch. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Nice hot showers. Just a couple of maintenance type repairs are needed in the bathroom. Overall, we had a nice stay. Just what we were looking for!

Great Stay!

Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Heaven's Gate. Only 1 jet works on the hot tub, but the bath was great. It didn't seem that the room had been "reset" since the last visitor (towels still in the washer, dishes in the dishwasher, trash cans had no trash bags . But other than those minor things, I really enjoyed my time there.

Exactly What I Needed

I booked this trip to help with some new life challenges I was facing and it was everything I needed. The property is gorgeous and tucked away from the road. Its also super close to Beavers Bend National Park. It provided me the privacy and peace I needed. And when I wanted to extend my trip because I was enjoying my time so much I contacted the owner and modified my trip with no hiccups. Loved my time at Heavens Gate.

Great getaway

The location is good. The cabin is cozy! There were just a few things we noticed. The cleanliness could have been better. There was quite a bit of dust and cobwebs. Also, the bathroom trash had not been emptied. It could use a few updates such as the refrigerator and the bed. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and was the perfect getaway for me and my wife.

Good stay

We loved the area super close to everything and easy to get to. Very cozy and romantic which is what we were aiming for. The hot tub worked great and was clean. Fish tales winery nearby was delicious and a cute spot for dinner. We tried to eat at a few other places on Sunday but most had already closed so plan to eat early in Sundays. A few things they could update/repair would be bed mattress is very uncomfortable to sleep on, bed needs a rug under it (moves a lot and makes a ton of noise if you’re aiming for romance 😉), no hair dryer, bathroom faucet was constantly leaking and water pressure in shower was really low. Overall it was a good experience but I wouldn’t consider this a luxury experience like they advertised.

Good Location

We Loved the location. Communication with property owner or manager was not good. I had to threaten a bad review before they would communicate with me. Tv was not set up properly , we could only see half the screen and not change the channel upon arrival. After threat 24 hours after first texting them, then leaving voice messages they responded. Cabin was clean but had several light bulbs out and a cabinet door falling off in the bathroom.

Relaxing and pretty but maintenance needed

Pros: Beautiful property. Relaxing for the hubby and I for a few days. Pretty area. Felt secluded even though we weren’t.Con’s: Property needs some maintenance done. Both faucets leaked, all fan lighting was not working (there was recessed lighting that was) and the light over the sink (the main kitchen light) kept going off and on even though the light switch was on. It was hard to cook at night and see in the kitchen because of the lack of light. It was dark enough, we had to use the pantry lighting and our cell phone lights to cook in the evening. I messaged the property manager to let them know about the lighting twice and they never responded. The lack of communication from the property manager was disappointing.All in all, it was still a pleasant visit but more lighting would have been wonderful and the property manager should have responded to me.

Overall the cabin is in a great location the cabin is beautiful the indoor jacuzzi is great and the the hottub perfect outside in nature my wife and I rested and enjoyed ourselves.
