Great property, well appointed in all regards. Great views and back patio! Far enough out of Hochatown to be quite, but not so far that its inconvenient to get into town. Terrific!

Amazing Getaway Weekend!

Our stay at Livin on the Edge was incredible! Everyone wished we could have had just one more night. The house was clean and cozy. The view was amazing (except for the portapotty and new construction across the street). The turn in to the neighborhood was a little scary at first, being after a blind turn and the driveway dauntingly steep, but after a few times in and out we mastered them both. The kids had a blast racing up and down the steep driveway, playing pool and shuffleboard in the upstairs loft, making s’mores and hanging out in the hot tub. We brought our telescope and stargazed from the back porch and were pleasantly surprised at how many stars we could still see surrounded by other homes and party lights. We loved that the location was outside Hochatown enough to feel we weren’t tourists, but close enough to go into town to eat and do activities. We definitely will keep this on our list for repeat vacation spots! It was the perfect spot for a low key family getaway!

Very quite and isolated. Short drive to everything from the lake to the local grocery store. I love the decor. So tasteful and not overwhelming. Beds very clean and comfy. Kitchen completely stocked.

The VIEW!

The view and covered deck makes this place a 5 star for sure! The kitchen and inside living area is small but who is spending time in there when you can be on that deck! As others have mentioned the driveway is crazy steep. Wish they would install some high stakes close to the curve in the driveway by the house to help you navigate the concrete drive.

Amazing stay

The property is exactly as described and is absolutely stunning. The patio has beautiful views and was our favorite spot to spend time. The upstairs space was perfect for the kids (ages 10 and 14). All of the beds were comfortable, with soft sheets! The driveway is steep, as described, and at first it is a bit daunting but that fades after the first try! We had no issues navigating in our 2 wheel drive mid-size SUV. The booking process was simple and Tin Star was quick to respond to any inquiries. Our family of four loved this property, the whole experience, and would most definitely visit again.

incredible stay - truly perfect

We had the best stay. All the prior reviews said how "perfect" everything was, and I'll be honest, I figured I was just getting set up for disappointment. I was not disappointed. My husband was astounded at how nice the place was. The views - incredible. Inside, outside, upstairs or downstairs - the views were great from pretty much every window or spot in the house or outside. The driveway hill is a serious thing. It freaked me out, but we got in just fine. I ended up parking only half way up the driveway for the second part of our trip. But do not hesitate to book this if you've got a vehicle that can get up a seriously steep concrete driveway.
