The Off The Record couples' cabin is eye-grabbing with high vaulted ceilings, high walls and tall doors. The Great Room's design is similar to a timber frame lodge design - showcased by high-vaulted ceilings, large view windows, with wide-plank walls which are stained with gray/blue wood tones. The floors are stained concrete with several shades of gray and a glossy finish. You will be impressed with the comfortable King Bed. The master bathroom is unique with an elevated bathtub, fireplace and large over-sized Porcelain tile shower. The kitchen features granite counters, and center island (3 stools) along with a pub-style dining table (seats 4). A Foosball table provides fun for everyone. 

The outdoor areas include a covered porch, located just off the kitchen with a real wood-burning rock fireplace and very comfortable outdoor seating.  In back is a spacious deck with a table (4 comfortable chairs), this area is great for grilling, dining or relaxing. And you'll find the 4-person hot tub on its own deck area, which is open to the sky where you can soak and take in the stars or the evening sunsets.

A Queen Sleeper Sofa is located in the Great Room.

Off The Record has a wide range of amenities and is a one-of-a-kind special Farmhouse design.  Enjoy DirecTV (movie channels) and Wi-Fi.  The Propane Weber Grill and Blackstone 4-Burner Griddle Cooking Station are ready to use with propane provided. Also, we provide a 1/4 rack of firewood with fire log and lighter. Off the Record is Pet Friendly.

Wonderful Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin. Everything a person would need to stay a few days without leaving, was available. The hot tub was our favorite place to be.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved this cabin so much! It looks just like its pictures. We enjoyed the hot tub and the location. We were close to everything, but felt like no one was close to us. Definitely a great place for couples to stay.

Close to the attractions but secluded

It is a very cozy cabin with responsive hosts. It is extremely close to the Safari and other cool attractions. Me and my wife had a wonderfully relaxing time.

Perfect couples cabin

Perfect place for 2. Away from the main roads and traffic noise. Tucked in the woods enough you don't hear the neighbors, great privacy.

This is our 3rd time staying at this cabin. We love it so much we have our reservation for 2024 already booked! The cabin is well stocked, high end appliances, and the outdoor fireplace is amazing! Highly recommend this cabin!

2nd Stay - Even Better Than Last!!!

We absolutely LOVE this cabin! This was our second time coming back and it was even better than the last. The covered patio with a fireplace is the most incredible feature that I’ve never seen anywhere else. It made it so we could enjoy cozying up by the fire even when it was raining. The cleanliness of the cabin is impeccable and the amenities are exactly as advertised. “Off the Record” is officially our getaway spot from here on out!!

Perfect place for a couple

The cabin was very quaint and located in a perfect place so you can be alone with little noise but close enough to Broken Bow or Hochatown to shop, get groceries, or enjoy breweries. The cabin was very clean and the lights were on when we arrived so we could easily enter the property and get settled. The outside patio is what we enjoyed the most with the fireplace, grill and blackstone. We visited for our honeymoon and this cabin was perfect!

Great location!

The location was perfect! No traffic or visible neighbors made the back porch a prime spot for relaxing. Everything inside the cabin was beautifully thought out and well-stocked. I had one issue with the television and the owner was super quick to respond. I’ve stayed at numerous cabins in Hochatown and this is by far one of my favorites. Would definitely stay again!

A quick getaway from NW Louisiana!

My husband and I enjoyed our time at “Off the Record”! We selected this cabin because it is pet friendly. We brought our dog, Emma, and she had a great time too! The cabin was very clean and well-kept! Beavers Bend State Park is just down the road, and we spent our days hiking and chilling.

Anniversary Special

First trip without the kids in 20 years. Had a blast, the cabin is awesome. Remote but close to all the points of interest in the area. Want to return with the kids, but will have to get a bigger cabin. Highly recommend this for couples.

When we arrived at the cabin, my husband asked if we were at the right place because the cabin looked so beautiful. We were in complete awe of the place. We loved the porch part with fireplace. We wish we could pick the place up and take home with us!

This is our third time to stay at Off The Record. We absolutely love it. We love sitting on the patio and drinking coffee in the mornings and sitting and drinking an adult beverage in the evenings. We enjoy seeing the deer in the yard as well!

Just as described cabin in the woods

Pictures are exactly like the place. Very quiet place, with all the amenities you need to fix any meal. Setting of the house is very nice. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch with the fire going and watching football. Bathtub with the fireplace was a bonus!!

Perfect Midweek trio

Beautiful cabin, nicely decorated. Conveniently located in a secluded area, but less than a mile from Grateful Head. Can’t say enough about this property, my wife had a wonderful time reading and relaxing in the cabin while I ran over to the park to fish. Truly Off the Record. Don’t hesitate to book!!

Chillin in Hochatown

My husband and I came for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was well-equipped, very clean, and comfy. And the deck outside was amazing. We are already talking about coming back! 37th anniversary trip.

This was our second time to stay at Off the Record. The cabin is perfect for an anniversary getaway. Lots of outdoor area, beautiful cabin and privacy for the hot tub. We love the multi level deck. The previous outdoor furniture was a lot more comfortable and roomy. Bring that back and it would be perfect.
