“My wife has been coming to Oglebay for the majority of her life and for her it’s become a tradition to visit. I have only been to the property twice and although I think it is very nice, improvements need to be made: 1. Both the indoor and outdoor pools need to be refurbished IMMEDIATELY! Both are gross! “Checked in for a concert, the staff was not helpful for the area and stressed several times about the traffic to/from the venue. The traffic was absolutely fine and I used my google search in finding a good local spot for food and drinks before the concert.”

“We grew up in Wheeling and needed a place to stay for a family reunion. This house worked well for 5 of us. It is a quaint victorian style house in a quiet little neighborhood. The wood work is beautiful and the house is cozy, we loved the front porch! The host answers messages promptly. We do have to say that the house could use a deep clean. The baseboards need dusted and some vacuuming needs done. The stove was not clean, but luckily we didn't need to use it. Also the listing says 2……

“This property was terrible. We arrived to find the house filthy and all the beds unmade. Trash everywhere, food left out on counters, blood in one of the beds. We could not stay here and booked another hotel at 11:00 PM in Pittsburgh. I have never seen such a filthy vacation rental. ”
