our stay was wonderful, the home was clean, very well stocked. quite, plenty of room for the kids to play safely due to the gate, the game room was great fun and entertainment. the beds were comfortable, plenty of towels for the spa, and the host was very responsive to messagess, The location was close to everything, the store the beach, the park, We were very pleased with the accomadations, We are looking forward to going again next year.

Host was very welcoming. Entrance to the property is a little tricky...look for the green utility boxes at the end of the driveway. House was clean and kitchen well stocked. Laundry room offers two sets of washer and driers which appear quite new. Lots of game room activities, and small putting green was really fun. Blackstone for outdoor cooking was much appreciated. Lots of bed space, 2 bathrooms (one of which was quite small). Location is close to everything, especially grocery shopping which made for some happy campers. Great family get together place. Dining area is quite small, but lots of outdoor seating available. Thanks for the nice stay! Fun was had by all.

Super comfortable, very clean, accommodating, private, relaxing, quiet and a short drive to the beach. Had everything you would need to cook small and large meals. Well stocked too. The game room and hot tub were so nice to enjoy!! Such a great place to stay!! Would stay here again !

Brookings getaway

Lovely place, with so many additional amenities. We all loved the wraparound porch and outdoor seating options. We wish we could have stayed longer and taken more advantage of the jacuzzi, game room and putting green. Thank you! We hope to return in the future.

Came here all the way from Seattle and we had the best time! Quiet, clean, exactly as listed and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again next time we ever visit Brookings! Owner was communicative, place was very fun to stay at with tons of places to sleep and things to do. Hot tub was very hot and ready to go as soon as we got there! We loved it!

Family time

The house was a perfect stop to relax after visiting beaches, state parks and forests. I do believe we used the Blackstone everyday, it was a great addition to a family that loves to cook. Setting up reservations, extending a day, and early checking were all easily communicated.

Wedding Weekend

This place was perfect for our family. We were in town for our daughter’s beach wedding. The house was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. We had family over for a lunch and the deck was perfect. The game room and jacuzzi were a hit with our kids! We came in late and the directions and check in instructions were easy. Location is close to shopping and restaurants.

Very clean and professional home

My experience is limited, I ruptured my quadricep the day we were expecting to stay, so I wasn’t able to utilize everything. But coming from someone who was injured and in crutches the house itself was easy to manuever around and bathroom was easily accessible with way yo lift myself up and being a single flood house made it much better. The rest of the family greatly enjoyed the atmosphere and activities such as a the hot tub and Rec room and would be a place I’d be willing to go again once in better health. I do think it was a very secluded and private spot which was very nice.

Comfortable stay

Large space located in urban woodsey area. Owners provided a map which help locate property which at first is a bit of a challenge to find the driveway but after locating easy to find. 2 full size vehicle parking driveway. Large 3/4 wrap around wood deck with outside griddle, small gas fireplace, hot tub, putting green on artificial turf, and the game room located around the corner away from living space which is great to keep game playing noise from main house. Game room is great with air hockey, shuffleboard, pool table, video game and TV, old time record player with a small selection of old time records, classic! Main house is open with a decent size kitchen with most everything would need, open living room space with TV. Kitchen has dishware/utensils/towels/full size side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, electric stove, oven. There is a small pellet stove located next to seating area. 2 bathrooms, 1 of them a "master",the other is a small guest bathroom with a tight shower if you are the average or larger adult. Three bedrooms with 1 having a small amount of fitness equipment. The extra room had a computer and a daybed, but it was broken and unusable when we were there. Ceiling fans in rooms, but are a bit dated. Owners were very responsive in a couple of minor issues that were taken care of right away. The wood deck has a few boards that need replacing, Wifi password needs to be changed to a secure strong one!! Overall an excellent, roomy, comfortable stay!!
