“An amazing place to stay. Clean, comfortable, secluded but convenient to town. This place is a winner!”

“Nice cabin, lots of extras. Right on the lake. Lots of birds and woodpeckers. Had a problem with heat instructions- when we got there it was rainy and cold. Had to get in touch with Jason. He told us how to turn the heat on after we sat in the cold for four hours! Next 2 days weather was per. Would recommend and would stay again!”

“We enjoyed our stay in this home. The lake view we had was beautiful and even more beautiful because of the snow. We were in town for some family emergency services but we still enjoyed our time and felt very relaxed even with the family circumstances. We took lots of pictures and enjoyed every minute we could. The home is well stocked with pans and supplies.”

“We were a group of 8 women and had absolutely everything we needed. It is a stunning house and the surrounding lake-filled area is beautiful. We had perfect hiking on the nearby Little Siss trails. Since it was April, we didn't go out onto the lake but plan to next time we stay:)”

“We were very pleased with the property, location, and experience. Large enough for our family with room to spare. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the large deck, fishing, kayaking, playing games in the yard, and using the fire pit.”

“This was a great place to stay for a group of friends. The game room and bar area was a lot of fun. The property manager responded very quickly and was easy to work with. My only critique is that the kitchen area could use a bit of filling out, with effectively no consumables or spices available and an odd scattering of kitchen tools/pans, with heavy wear.”

“This cabin was a perfect fit for our family of 14, ranging in age from 1 to 60. There was plenty of room for all of us, the yard was HUGE, and the hosts were so responsive and friendly. Sand Lake was fun for fishing and the sandbar at the dock made for a great place for all our young ones to play in the water safely. They had everything we needed for a great vacation.”

“Cabin was clean and had the basics. No frills. Thought it would be in and around trees, but it was right out in the open trailer park area. TV was an issue. Was told no Internet, but didn't find that we had Paramount Plus until last morning. We brought our Fire Stick so git done options. Very small shower and beds were not very comfortable. Overall it was more stly what we needed. Thanks”

“We had our entire family (6 adults and our 14 month old Granddaughter) had such a wonderful time! We kayaked, fished and just enjoyed the natural splendor! For a small little lake holy smokes it was so much fun watching the fishing activity! Loved everything! Brad our property owner was so highly communicative and I certainly appreciate everything he did for us! I honestly wish that there was a higher level we could give! 👍”

“Nice little cabin...host was a great help with us not knowing how to use the lock box to get the keys.. Improvements would be wash cloths and hand towel by the sink..outside could be a little more well cared for...outside fire pit but no matces or paper to start the fie..but overall not bad place to stay ”

“It is an interesting property with lots of outdoor deck space. Inside there is a comfortable living room. The beds are older and not made to support someone who is 200 lb or more (I purchased a blow up air mattress). The kitchen is well provisioned. I was there for work so did not explore the lake, it looks a bit swampy near the house. You need to bring your own boat to do this.”

“Property right on the trails. Trails were in nice shape with nice fall color. It is part of a resort so if ultimate goal is seclusion may not be for you but for us and our dog it Was great”

“Perfect for our weekend stay! Right on the lake and cabin/ house newly updated. Had some time to relax and toss a line into the lake right off the dock. We were in town for our sons hockey games. Normally stay in Chippewa Falls, but loved this little get away off the beaten path but still super close to chippewa. Owners were very attentive and property had everything we needed and more!”

“We found Sue and Norm’s place after abandoning plans to tent camp - rainy week predicted. Beautiful setting along the Chippewa River. Comfortable beds. Dining and relaxing seating area with large window view of the River. Fire ring out side between the cabin and water - we were able to use it two of the nights. From here, we drove to nearby sites to hike portions of the beautiful Ice Age Trail. Great bird watching both at the cabin and on the Trail. Nearby Cornell has 2 good ice cream shops plus……
