Such a great stay in a beautifully curated building.
Very comfortable, quiet room.
The hosts were very friendly and it was a pleasure to stay with them.
Located on a quiet street, but not that far away from the main square
It was lovely to stay in this B&B. House is beautiful, room was big, clean, and with all the things that you need, bed was very comfortable. The location is very convenient if you are planning to walk around Brugge, it’s super close to downtown but calm enough to rest.
We could not be happier with our choice for lodging in Bruges! Beautiful room, lovely host and perfect location. Do not hesitate to book your stay here- could not be more perfect!
The house was super stylish and full of beautiful things. The rooms were huge and breakfast delicious. The hosts were helpful and gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner.
When I come back to Bruges I shall definitely be booking to stay here again.
Lovely stay at St Jacobs with a luxurious large room with modern equipped furnishings. Recently renovated house with high-end contemporary finishes. Best sleep that I've had in a long time. The house was peacefully quiet away from the busy town only a moments walk away from the main square
Very accommodating owners who couldn’t do enough to make our stay any better. Beautiful house, breakfast very nice, coffee excellent. Very comfortable bed/ room. Luxury products as above. 5 minutes walk to the centre. We would recommend this B&B to friends and family.
This property was excellent. The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was delish and perfect for travellers. The host was very friendly and helpful. The decor was wonderful. To stay in a property that was originally build in 1700s just added to our perfect adventures in Bruges. Thank you!
A beautiful B&B close to the downtown area. The couple that runs it are very nice and serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is our room was cleaned over three days and we had to get our own clean towels. Other than that it’s a great place to stay when visiting Bruges.
Extremely nice stay at B&B St Jacobs. The room was big, silent, light and clean. The bed was super comfortable, pillows and blankets soft, warm and light - we slept like babies.
The hosting couple was kind and extreme helpful.
All and all a 5 star stay at this small B&B. Warm recommendation for those who are not looking for a hotel but a more personalised option. If ever returning to Brugge, this would be the one we choose.
We enjoyed most everything. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a treat and loved the gas fireplace in the room. The only bad thing was the water was lukewarm at best. Really cold outside and was looking forward to hot showers
Wouldn’t be better than that! Yet a perfect location, with an unique decoration. The B&B has only 4 rooms (and what a room. Everything is luxurious (the amenities are from clinique). And what about the great reception from the elegant darling Véronique that prepared us a comfortable breakfast.
This is a beautiful and well appointed property. I loved the area we were in, but I especially loved the fireplace in our room. It was very cold our first day in Brugges and the fireplace was wonderful to come home to. Our room and bed were large -- and beautiful large windows. For breakfast we were served fresh squeezed orange juice, an assortment of breads meats and cheeses with some pastries too. The pictures do not do it justice -- exceeded my expectations. Thanks so much to our hosts!!!!!
My husband and I stayed here in December and met friends there.
The B&B is charming and so beautiful, the architechture and decor is perfect. We would definitely stay again.
The owners are lovely and so attentive and helpful.
The breakfast and service was lovely. Served by the owners.
The place feels very personal and like you are staying with friends.
Our room was huge and had a lovely fireplace which we used. Lots of wardrobe space and a lovely bathroom with a large shower. The B&B is so clean and has everything you need.
Its central to the market place and everything else you need and the ambience of it just added to the Christmassy weekend that we had planned.
All of the rooms are interconnected (locked doors) but its great if travelling with children.
Coffee machine and pods in the room and a mini bar. There isn't any water in the room (unless you want to pay for one from the mini bar) so worth taking a bottle with you.
Worth noting that the owners do not accept credit / debit cards so you have to do a bank transfer or cash. As our bank account was UK based we couldn't do the bank transfer and so we found a cash machine and withdrew cash so it wasn't a problem.
This place felt like a home from home whilst also being a bit of luxury. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brugge now!
**A Wonderful Stay in Bruges – Perfect for the Christmas Markets!**
My mother and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this charming B&B during our visit to Bruges for the Christmas markets, and it was truly a highlight of our trip.
The room was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and had the perfect cozy touch with a fireplace that made the chilly evenings feel warm and inviting. Every detail in the room was thoughtfully arranged, ensuring both comfort and charm.
Our host was outstanding—genuinely friendly and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real treat: a delicious spread featuring fresh pastries, a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and perfectly brewed coffee alongside fresh orange juice. It was the perfect way to start each day before exploring the festive markets.
The host went above and beyond with helpful suggestions, including excellent dining recommendations and a tip on how to use the free shuttle from the main square to get back to the train station, which saved us time and effort.
The combination of the cozy accommodations, warm hospitality, and the magical atmosphere of Bruges made this an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely stay here again on a future visit—highly recommended!
