Bike riding beach getaway

It was very small. The floors were not safe. I tripped and caught my toes several times. There are not enough plates to use the dishwasher and 2 pods for a 10 day stay is insufficient. I had no idea the bed was a full. It was very hard. The place was clean. The patio nice. But you could hear conversation from other places and their tv.

Wonderful villa close to beach!

Our unit was beautiful, very close to the beach access and shaded with trees. The unit is nearby the community playground, but we didn’t have any issues with noise during our stay. Would definitely come back to this villa again!

Overall great experience

We had never been to Jekyll Island and can say we fell in love with it. The condo was great! Very clean, great location, and we appreciated the book with tips on places to eat on the island. The only downside was that you cant actually access the water from this location. While you can walk to driftwood beach or see the ocean, there is mostly large rocks at this location. The beach that you can set up at for the day is a short drive from the condo and so it was not a problem to still get our beach time in. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!

Quiet location close to the water

I wanted a quiet, restful trip, and this place provided that. It was easy to drive to other beaches, attractions, and restaurants on Jekyll Island. I walked to Driftwood Beach for sunrise one morning and it was spectacular. I also went on a Turtle Walk one evening (highly recommended) and watched a mama lay her eggs and then crawl back to the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!

Internet was sketchy at best, and unsecure. Do not plan to work from here. We set up hot spot from our phone, had to put the phone outside the patio door to obtain service. On the surface, property was clean, but not deep down clean. Bed was comfy, kitchen was sort of stocked, cabinets were a thrown in the cabinet hodge podge mess. No kitchen textiles other than a sponge and one hand towel. 4 bath towels for 2 people for a 5 day stay. Property needed maintenance work.

Off season delight

Nice community with a great location and well-kept grounds. Employees were friendly and helpful. Unit was fine for two people. Short beach walk to Driftwood Beach which was so unique and beautiful.

Return to Jekyll Island

We enjoyed the condo and its location. We rode our bicycles around the entire island. We were here 34 years ago so this was our return trip. Lots of changes on the Island as well as with us. We hope to come back for a third visit.

First Visit to Jekyll Island

This was our first visit to Jekyll Island and we were so impressed by the natural beauty and history. The condo, located in Villas by the Sea, was convenient to local attractions, restaurants and to the famous Driftwood Beach. The unit was open and airy and well appointed. The patio was perfect for early morning coffee and bird watching. The restaurant located on site was very good. Our host, Michael, was extremely easy to work with and was responsive to our needs and any questions we had. Thank you, Michael!

Short getaway for me & hubby

Very nice villa with everything needed. Close to beach and Driftwood beach. Pool was a relaxing addition. Within walking distance of Driftwood Bistro, which has exceptional food. Jekyll is a nice quiet place to getaway! I would definitely recommend this place.
