A great place to stay in St. Marys! The accommodations were excellent with plenty of room and all the amenities. The rooms are warm and inviting and pleasantly decorated. We will be staying there again in the future.

Absolutely charming place to stay in a lovely town

Nothing but good things to say about the property and the hosts. Comfy, lovely beach-y decor, and convenient to downtown St Mary's which is such a nice town in its own right. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Great halfway point for our trip

The pelican perch was super cozy. Had everything we needed. The golf cart was a bonus for heading down for sunset every evening at the waterfront and for checking out with town.

Excellent stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well equipped and very comfortable unit. We had everything we needed,hosts were very friendly and we had fun using the golf cart to zip into town. We have used vrbo for years and this was the best we have had. Would highly recommend.

Weekend Get Away Pelicans Perch Saint Mary's GA

Beautiful area! Close to many beaches and wonderful hosts! A very relaxing stay. The cottage was decorated with many fun pictures of famous places in St. Mary's. Within walking distance to the waterfront.

Best of the best!

The location is awesome for visiting St Mary’s and Cumberland Island area. The property was even better than described, spotlessly clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The grounds are a beautiful garden with lots of flowering local plants and the birds and bees they attract. The outdoor area is also top notch with nice patio area and gas grill. Hosts were very friendly and available if needed. Overall one of the best VRBO locations we have ever rented and we have been to many great locations 5 stars plus!

What a joy to just relax and unwind at such a quiet,unique and absolutely adorable place. Everything we needed was included. All we had to do was unpack and enjoy. Love the property and Wendy and Mike were the best hosts. Made us feel like family or old friends. We were blessed!

Beautiful serene place!

Pelican’s Perch was the perfect spot for me and my husband during our trip to St. Mary’s to visit our new granddaughter. The apartment was clean, cozy, had everything we needed and then some! And the flowers and trees surrounding the home were so beautiful. Will definitely stay again when we go back to visit!

This is a great place to stay. St Marys isn't for people looking for a place like South Beach Miami. It is a small slow paced town. If you are looking for a clean quiet place to stay in a historic town on the water you can't beat Pelican's Perch.

Perfection!

My husband and I wanted a little weekend getaway and our stay here was perfect. I would highly recommend, and we will be coming back. The little apartment was super clean and having access to a golf cart and bicycles was wonderful!Wendy and her husband were a joy to work with h!

Fun weekend getaway!

We went to St. Mary’s to take the ferry over to Cumberland Island so we booked this adorable, super clean with all the extras cottage. Everything was perfect and they have a beautiful garden area you can enjoy too as well as a work out center. My husband states he thought it was one of the best and cleanest places we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you Wendy for the use of this beautiful property as well as golf cart .

Pelican Perch

My husband and I came for relaxation. We have stayed here, I think 4 or more times. It is a lovely apartment, well stocked with all of the necessities. Wendy and Michael are on hand, if you should run into any problems.It’s is a second floor unit, but the stairs are a very easy climb.

Relaxation in St Mary

We had a very relaxing stay at Pelicans Perch! We have stayed at this apartment before and loved it then. Still loved it now! It was clean, relaxing, beautiful gardens, very nice bathroom essentials. In fact, I just ordered the shampoo and shower soap. Very luxurious! Wendy and Michael are great hosts, they’re available but , in no way intrusive.

Cute Beachy Cottage

Truly exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail in the decor created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The checkin/checkout process of the property was outstanding, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the stay. Access to St. Mary’s was a breeze with the ability to use the golf cart! Property Hunting in St. Mary's Georgia

The apartment was spotless with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Very quiet location and the grounds are a gardener's delight - very beautiful! We did not get to meet Mike and Wendy as they were called out of town, but we hope to stay again in the future as we continue to look for our retirement home. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed!

Charming apartment

Beautiful property, well maintained and well equipped. On check in, property owner couldn't accept payment, had a slight delay in reaching the correct vrbo office to pay balance due. Very easy once I got the right office. Couldn't operate TV, instructions weren't correct, owner came over and fixed it. Very friendly owner, gave lots of info about the community.

Beautiful place, quaint, quiet & magical

If we could give it a 20 we would. We loved this apt. it was very clean, comfortable (the bed too) & very well stocked. The owners were very nice & they really thought of everything one may need when staying away from home. The attention to details was beyond expectations. Moreover, being able to borrow beach chairs & Umbrella was great and although we didn't use the golf cart or bikes, it was a nice touch to include all of that with the rental. We were also very impressed with the property's magical garden, it was so tranquil and beautiful. We were able to enjoy seating in the private patio overlooking all the beautiful flowers & trees. It was also a great location 2 min. from downtown and Cumberland Island Ferry & 45 Minutes from Fernandina Beach & Ameila Island, FL. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place. The best vrbn we have ever been to, hands down. We honestly loved it. Thank you for having us!

A Real Gem !!

“Some people look for a beautiful place, others make a place beautiful.” **************************************** The Pelican Perch definitely exceeded our expectations. The apartment was so cozy and comfortable that we felt at home immediately. The apt was spacious enough that we never felt cramped during our 6 week stay. We could not believe how quiet the neighbour is. Sitting outside on the comfortable chairs, reading a book, enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the birds and being surrounded by beautiful landscaping could not have been more relaxing. Wendy and Michael are wonderful hosts. They are so friendly and personable and made us feel very much at home. We will definitely be returning next year for a month. Anyone choosing the Pelican Perch will not be disappointed.
