St Simons Island gorgeous MARSHFRONT VIEW, pool, Pond, Near Beach, FLETC

Relax in a very nice, comfortable, coastal decorated, three bedroom condominium with an open and split floor plan. Astounding view! The large screened in deck has a swing, comfortable furnishings, and 2 ceiling fans that overlook the beautiful marsh and Dunbar creek which is accessible from both the living room and master bedroom. A remote raises and lowers the screen so you can feed the birds, if desired.

1. The living room has a wet bar, a brand new 55-inch Samsung Smart TV, comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of the marsh offering a wildlife viewing area. A YouTube TV subscription is included.
2. The kitchen has a quartz countertop, with all appliances and dishes needed including a blender, food chopper, coffee machine, french press, coffee grinder, casserole dishes, plenty of pots and pans, baking sheets, measuring tools, etc.
3. The master bedroom has a king size bed with an adjustable bed frame that lifts the back with a remote control, 2 large closets, a 43-inch Samsung smart TV, DVD/CD player and a private bath. This bedroom also has a beautiful view of the marsh with access to the large deck.
4. The queen guest bedroom also has an adjustable bed frame with a remote control to adjust the back, a large closet, and a 32-inch Samsung TV with a Roku player to access smart apps.
5. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds, a large closet, and a 32-inch Samsung TV with a Roku stick.
6. Outdoors - You can take a nice stroll to the pond or take a swim in the well-maintained swimming pool with chaise lounges and tables provided. The pool, which is lit up at night has a Gazebo which can be used as a picnic area. There is a community BBQ grill, picnic table and a bike rack. The front entrance is on the ground level with front decking. There are 4 steps to get onto the front deck.

Many of the prints throughout the condo are done by a local artist and the photography done by me.

Small to medium size low shedding pets under 40 lbs are allowed. Please double check with me on your pet.

You will have a short walk to Redfern Village with unique gift shops, art galleries, boutiques, and several great restaurants. There are bike paths throughout the Island that will lead from the condominium to the beach, lighthouse, village, marinas, Fort Frederica and other historical sites and places of interest.

If you bring your own canoe or kayak, you can put in right in front of the condo into Dunbar creek and cruise the marsh, provided you mind the tide.

St. Simons Island has a lighthouse, fishing pier, quaint village, many boutique and gift shops, antique shops, several public golf courses, three marinas, kayak tours through the marshes and the beach, eco boat tours, dolphin tours, scuba diving trips to the wrecks offshore, several charter fishing boats, nature pontoon boat trips, sailboat rentals, horseback riding, local gyms, and bike riding on the beach or on the bike trails throughout the Island. You can also buy fresh locally caught Georgia White Shrimp or you can ride on the charter shrimp boat, Lady Jane, and assist in the catch yourself and eat your fresh catch on the boat for lunch.

St Simons is only 75 miles South of Savannah, 75 miles North of Jacksonville, FL and 65 miles to Fernandina Beach.

Some of the Neighboring barrier Islands to visit are:

1. Cumberland Island is a state owned Island with private residents, wild horses and beautiful beaches, sand dunes, large driftwood on beaches and the Dungeness ruins built by Carnegie. A short ferry ride from St Mary's takes you there and back. Bike rentals are available. Reservations required.

2. Jekyll Island has a lot of deep history, beautiful beaches, bike trails, and a historic district with the Jekyll Island Club Hotel and surrounding cottages owned by the famous elite entrepreneurs such as Pulitzers, Morgans, Vanderbilts, Macys, Goodyears, Rockefellers, etc. The historical Jekyll Island Club offers an expansive Sunday brunch.

3. Sapelo Island, is a state protected barrier Island accessible by aircraft or boat. A ferry is available. It is the site of Hog Hammock, the last known Gullah community.

St. Simons Island is a lovely place to get married. You can get married on the beach or in one of the many chapels. A wedding Package of Photography is available. I am a professional Photographer.

Rather than being down near the pier village for the month, we opted for this close, yet more private location with the long back porch right on the marsh! The condo had everything we needed and is walking distance to stores and restaurants. Our host was very attentive to our needs and had updated the condo since our last stay there several years ago. Perfect for us and our occasional guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. So perfect that we're going back next year!

Great central location! Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and historic sites. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. While clean, the interior of this property needs some TLC, as many cabinets, doors, and trim are scratched and in need of paint and/or repair. One negative is the owner requests all paper products be replaced for the next renters...believe this should be the owner's responsibility given a sizeable rental fee and housekeeping fee.

Stayed 12/29/18 - 1/31/2019 - The location was perfect. Close to amenities. An easy walk to Red Fern Village. Suzanne was very helpful in making suggestions for food and site seeing. We were able to have some of our family and friends stop in and stay for a few days because it was a three bedroom condo. Loved that it was an end unit because of our dog. Great marsh view from the condo and deck. The neighbors were nice and friendly.

We have been coming to St. Simon’s Island for the month of March for 5 years now. We have always stayed within walking distance of the pier village, but this year decided to try this great marsh condo. Owner Suzanne greeted us warmly upon arrival and showed us around...very welcoming. Easy walking to Redfern Village’s many shops and restaurants and also to Southern Soul. We, and our guests, enjoyed cocktails on the long deck overlooking the marsh and also spent a lot of mornings out there, watching and listening to the variety of beautiful birds. Beautiful built-in tiled bar in the living room and the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths gave us plenty of room. A bonus we didn’t expect...lovely neighbors!

This condo is in a wonderful location and has a great balcony with a beautiful marsh view. It is in such a convenient spot and within walking distance of Red Fern village. The condo is very nicely decorated and has enough space for a family or group of friends. Suzanne was very responsive and helpful in many ways! Saint Simons is a beautiful island and Skiff Landing is a great place to stay to enjoy the many wonderful charms of the island. Thank you Suzanne!!!

Great value, great location! We have spent two winters at Suzanne's properties on Saint Simon's and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Suzanne is very accommodating and her end unit condo is in the best location overlooking the marsh. There is a huge deck to read, nap or just enjoy the view. Skiff Landing is next door to a multitude of shops and restaurants and they are within walking distance. Saint Simons is an enchanting place to stay. Lots of flat land for biking and walking, great food, beaches and a charming village.

Enjoyed our Feb. 2014 stay very much. The condo was as advertised in the vrbo posting and the owner provided a great deal of information on local sites, activities & shops as well as great restaurant reviews. Skiff Landing's central location makes it easy to reach all that SSI has to offer. We would not hesitate to return for another stay.

Being within walking distance to the Redfern Village was great and a good location. Viewing the marsh and feeding the birds was a plus. Unfortunately this year was cooler than normal so we were unable to use the outdoor pool. The unit was large with hardwood floors, comfortable and nicely decorated. Downtown Pier Village and beaches are close by. Brunswick and Jekyll Island are a short drive over the Causeway.

I highly recommend this condo! I lived in the condo this past summer for two months with a few of my friends and we had the best time! It is in the perfect location on St. Simons and provides a welcoming atmosphere. The space in the condo is the perfect amount for anyone that is looking for a beach get away! I loved living in this condo and will always remember the memories we were able to make there!

We stayed in this condo for a month and found it to be in good physical shape, quiet and conveniently located. "Downtown" and beaches are a short drive away. Because of the location, many stores and restaurants are an easy walk. The pool is clean and well maintained, as is the entire complex. The owner, Suzanne, is friendly and accomidating.

My family, 5 adults, enjoyed the quite and peaceful condo. It met our needs perfectly and close to a few fun restaurants, bike rental across the main street, monkeywrench, neat coffee shop 'wake-up' and some of the best coleslaw I've ever had at 228 Grill in RedFern. this condo is well appointed with everything you would need to relax. There is a delightful porch and two seated swing and a fan overhead to keep you cool. Definately a place to spend a month at. Enjoy
