“Stayed two nights for graduation ‘24. It’s east of highway 6 in a cluster of newer hotels. Because it was graduation the rate was over $300/night which otherwise would be ridiculous for a garden inn in Texas. Was a little put out that that on top of that they charged $12 for a modest buffet breakfast although I must have dodged the check the first day. Room was ok although the bathroom fixtures could use some help. The faucet in the sink was loose and the bathtub drain had to be unscrewed to……

“The Messina Hof winery is excellent. You should make your lunch or dinner reservations well in advance of your trip though. There were no openings during our visit. They were able to get us in, so kudos to the staff. We had a wonderful time.”
