Beautiful location and view. Our family stayed over thanksgiving and the kids loved the game room. The yard and outdoor space was great. View was awesome. Location was excellent and close to downtown Bryson City.

A beautiful place in Bryson City. This isn't just a stay, it's a home. The owners have definitely put a lot of thought and effort into this awesome house. Nice view, clean and cozy. We took our two grandkids for spring break. The house was perfect for us and even had a game room downstairs. The fire pit was great overlooking the valley. Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Bryson city

Perfect location for the Polar Express

Hike Inn was the coziest place! We absolutely loved it, and enjoyed the game room! Just a short drive to the cutest little town! We plan on making this a tradition and will be back! My only “complaint” is that the second bathroom is located in the basement. You have to walk outside to get to it as well as the game room. We made it work just using the upstairs bathroom.

Very comfortable. Lovely views. Up and down spaces are not connected inside. Swings are a great touch. People renting must read the information about the water supply. We had no problems with having enough water. Just have to be aware of the water source.

Best stay of our NC Mountain vacation

We normally stay for 8 weeks every summer in the NC Mountains. This rental was one of the best we have stayed in. Here are our positive and negative comments. Positive: Pets allowed. Centrally located to all the rafting in around Bryson City. The house is private and secluded. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. Beautiful views from the deck. No neighbors are visible from anywhere around the house. The house itself is spacious inside and has a wide open deck. Nice kitchen with ample space in cupboards. Very comfortable beds. We also really enjoyed the pool table in the basement. Under-roof / carport for car. The last part (steeper) of the driveway is paved making it easy to reach the house with a 2WD vehicle. The house lives very comfortably - we would definitely stay there again. Negative: The internet is provided via a Verizon cell network. During heavy rain the performance of the WiFi dropped below 2Mbps. However, during good weather conditions, it work adequately (even for streaming). The outside gazebo with dining area is accessible from the kitchen area, but with a little effort/walking back and forth. It was easier for us to just dine inside (at a beautifully constructed barrel table).

Family Vacation

Home was easy to get to and convenient to multiple spots we wanted visit. Fire pit, swings, picnic table shelter, grill were all really great extras for the house. Everything was as advertised and worked appropriately and the home was clean and well equipped with games and things you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our time here.

Excellent for families with kids!

The house was very clean, and upgraded. It was comfortable, and cozy. Our kids LOVED the game room, and kept them occupied. The fire pit outside was a plus as we got to make some s’mores in the evening. It was quiet, and private, so perfect for our family. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the area😃

Great Winter break vacation

Great location to be secluded from the heavily touristy areas and still close enough drive to them. Bryson City has a very cute downtown - which is only a few minutes drive from this property with stores and restaurants. Local grocery store too. All the local restaurants were very yummy! Our boys loved the game room, swings and fire Pitt! Lovely home!! Very well kept and clean.
