I really can’t rate this villa with stars

The villa was very rustic and unique. It had a lot of character. Bugs and flies were a real problem. Of course, we were among all the vineyards, so you can expect bugs, etc. in the house. They were a bit much for me. Also, the house was not very clean. I lost my earring under the bed, and when I got under the bed to retrieve it, I was shocked at the dust and dirt that was there. And, David, while he is a very likeable gentleman, would show up at our door in the mornings without any warning. I would always be sitting in my pjs relaxing and reading emails, etc.. It was very startling for me. The countryside was beautiful. We did a lot of biking and walking. It is a remote area, however, which is what we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. However, the cloths they provided for clean up were not very clean. Terrible coffee maker. All in all, I don’t know if I would recommend this villa. If my complaints sound minor to you, then you would enjoy this villa. The pool was lovely, by the way.

Très belle maison au cœur de la campagne. Agricole donc avec ses petites nuisances (tracteur dès 6h du matin). Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de contact à notre arrivée pour expliquer les procédures.

Thuis in la casa pietra

Heerlijk huis met grote tuinen zwembad, dichtbij het mooie plaatsje Bubbio. Wij waren er dit jaar voor de vierde keer op rij tezamen met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen. Een waar feest!

Vi havde et fint ophold, men stedet mangler helt klart aircondition, meget varmt indenfor på værelserne. Der var kun 4 solstole og ikke seks som på billedet. Værten var meget venlig og informativ og hjælpsom.

eine tolle Zeit im Landhaus in Bubbio

Wir waren mit der ganzen Großfamilie im Landhaus in Bubbio und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Besitzer haben an alles gedacht, damit man dort eine unbeschwerte Zeit verbringen kann. Wie im Inserat zu sehen, ist das Haus geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet, die Küche perfekt ausgestattet und der Garten mit traumhafter Terrasse, Pool und Spielgeräten/Sitzgelegenheiten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bei Anfragen bekamen wir sofort kompetente Antwort und die nette Hausverwalterin hat alles erklärt, was man wissen muss. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen das schöne Ferienhaus.

Thuis in casa Pietra

Dit was de derde keer dat wij met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen gedurende twee weken in casa Pietra verbleven. Het voelt inmiddels als thuis. We houden van het huis en van de omgeving en raken niet uitgekeken in de Piëmonte. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en de grote tuin met vele zitjes biedt voor een ieder mogelijkheid te rusten, spelen, lezen, kletsen, borrelen met elkaar of afzonderlijk. En dan nog het fijne zwembad! Op enige afstand zijn David of Simone die kunnen helpen waar nodig. Simone en haar dochter Cinzia kunnen soms ook nog zorgen voor een fantastisch diner! Casa Pietra is een feest. We willen volgend jaar weer terug!

Mit 6 Erwachsenen - 1 Teenagerin und 2 Kleinkindern verbrachten wir 14 wunderbare Ferientage. Alle fühlten sich in der Casa Pietra wohl. Wir hatten genügend Platz im Haus und drumherum mit Pool und div. Spielen. Wurden grossartig willkommen geheissen und betreut von Simona - phantastisch bekocht von Cinzia und aus der Ferne informiert von David.

Wonderful Piedmont villa and great hosts

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casa Pietra. My parents, and my family of four (two boys aged 6 & 8) had a great week exploring Piedmont and enjoying the pool amidst a very hot July. The house is older but well kept. The shades and fans made it cool enough to sleep. The kitchen is very usable. And the bikes were good to get out on early in the morning before it got too hot (though the hills are steep!) The owners were extremely responsive and helpful both before and during our stay - providing lots of useful advice for the region. They have a wonderful local family who manage the house and provide on-site cooking if desired. We paid for dinner one night which was delicious and Cinzia and Simone were an absolute delight to meet and chat with. The location is definitely remote - Bubbio is a tiny sleepy village - so most destinations are 20 mins drive or more but we visited Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba and Asti on various day trips. Canelli over the hill is an interesting place to be near! Beware the roads are small, steep and winding in the region. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

It was great !

I recently rented a house in Italy and would like to share my positive experiences. From the moment of arrival, we received a warm welcome from the owner, which immediately made a positive impression. The hospitable reception made us feel at home right away. The vacation home is situated in a breathtaking location. Surrounded by the beautiful Italian countryside, we could enjoy picturesque views of the hills and charming villages in the vicinity. The tranquility and serenity of the location made it an ideal escape from the daily hustle and bustle. There was a large and well-maintained swimming pool. It was a delight to take a refreshing dip on hot days and relax on the comfortable sun loungers by the poolside. The pool provided ample space for our group and was a great place to have fun and unwind together. The vacation home itself was spacious and comfortable. The interior was tastefully decorated with attention to detail, and all the amenities we needed were available. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare meals and enjoy cozy dinners on the terrace. The overall experience of our stay in this rented house was absolutely positive. The warm welcome, stunning location, and large pool all contributed to an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this vacation home to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Italy.

Late May with friends

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Casa Peitra with a group old friends. The perfect place for a reunion after many years. Here's what some of the guests said: A comfortable and brilliantly equipped house perfect for large numbers with space for everyone, whether relaxing by the pool, reading in the shade or cooking in the brilliant kitchen. And for those who need to do the odd bit of work, fantastic wi-fi. -Lucy A thoroughly modernised beautiful old villa set in spectacular, surprisingly green, rural countryside. Stunning. - Mitch I arrived exhausted and just the sight and location of the villa, instantly lifted my spirits. Day one the joy set in. Every day brought more. I leave reluctantly but with the diary out working out when I can return. - Elaine... I came for the Giro which passes near by and got inspired. Vilken semester!

Underbart hus för avkopplande semester. Många trevliga besöksmål i närheten och väl ekiperat hus för fritidsaktiviteter. Vi tog tillfället i akt att ha en middag i huset, tillagat av Cinzia Taccone, kock, som gjorde en utsökt middag med råvaror från morföräldrarnas gård. Kunde inte bli en bättre avslutning på vår vecka!! Ett härligt möte med Italien utanför de vanliga turistorterna!!

Beautiful Part Of The World

We had a wonderful stay at Casa La Pietra. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool, table tennis and fussball, visiting local vineyards, Tenuta Antica, Acqui Terme, the ice cream shop in Cassinasco and Roccaverano has amazing views.

Wonderful villa in a lovely area

A wonderful place for a holiday - the grandchildren loved the pool, table tennis, table football, swings and the garden. Lovely outdoor eating area with large table next to the kitchen. Everything was exceptional. Jeska recommended a local chef, Cinzia, who cooked us an excellent meal one evening . David looks after the property and he was really helpful and welcoming and solved any issue that we had.

A wonderful house, excellent pool and host!

We really enjoyed our stay at la casa Pietra! The children were happy and busy with activities in the garden and the pool was excellent. David was a superb host! He was extremely helpful and gave us lot of good advice. Most of the beds were not that comfortable( too firm) and of course it was hot in the bedrooms on the upper floor but David provided us with some fans.

Fantastisk vecka!!

Vi hade en superfin vecka! Tyvärr var inte satsningen helt färdig när vi skulle checka in men David som ansvarade för uthyrningen var fantastisk och vi fick ligga vid poolen medans städningen blev klar. Det var rejäl värmebölja så tyvärr väldigt mycket flugor men samma där, David försökte hjälpa oss så mkt som möjligt med detta och handlade flygfältet och sprayer till oss. Sammanfattningsvis ett helt otroligt hus och trädgård som vi mer än gärna återkommer till!!

Pleasant stay in Casa Pietra

Nice house with all comfort. Especially the kitchen was good provided. We had a warm welcome from house keeper David. The region Piemonte has fascinating views. Acqui Terme and Alba are worthwile to visit. We highly recommend Casa Pietra.
