We didn’t go into Buckfastleigh, just the abbey and it’s grounds and the abbey inn.
all clean staff briliant and smiling , rooms clean twin beds a bit over soft , but cosy for many someone needs to paint the top of stairs fire door its been scratched to death gives a poor image when everything else is very good there can be road noise but they even supply earplugs if you want them ...

First impressions are not good as the hotel sign is missing the H in The Imperial. The hotel looks very shabby from the outside but once inside the foyer the grandeur of the hotel is apparent.
