「We had a wonderful stay! The A/C was truly the trip saver during a hot and busy week. We were in town for a college drop-off and the location worked perfectly. In between lots of dorm shopping, we explored the area—highlights included a sunflower farm, Amish Country in Lancaster County, and even a longer drive for a beach day. 「This house was a good landing place for our large family gathering. We liked the well-appointed kitchen and comfortable gathering area in the living room. 「This home is definitely historic and full of charm! As expected with an older house, there are a few features that might be challenging for some guests—like the high tub and narrow spiral staircase. 「We enjoyed this location for a Thanksgiving trip to see Philadelphia and local family. Check in and out was smooth. Recently rehabbed property, was very clean with quiet neoghbors. We had an issue with a doorknob and the owner came to fix it within hours of reporting it. The only difficulty was finding street parking later in the evening, but it was easy to find during the day. We rode the bus a couple times and walked every day, which helped us find local coffee & pie shop, murals, cheesesteak...

(In the main house there were a few more stairs than we were aware of, and a few very narrow and steep staircases which made it a bit more difficult for one of our family members who recently had broken a few ribs to get around, but not a deal breaker by any means) The pool was excellent (but could use a little shade - we were all vying for space under the one umbrella)Overall we had an excellent stay. 」

"This is a highly-recommended hotel. The location is quite convenient. Everything is great, feeling like a home. One thing that they can improve is the offering of the breakfast. It is quite hard to get breakfast outside the hotel in the morning. So, if there is breakfast offered, even a simple continental breakfast, that would be great and the convenient for business travelers."
