“The standard of customer service is exceptional. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. There is a very relaxing lounge area and the Caskieben bar offers an excellent food and drinks menu at reasonable prices. We were particularly impressed by the swimming pool which is perfect for those with young families. The breakfast offer was similarly very good and well organised. We will be back. ”

“Friendly and flexible staff made the stay very pleasant. It's a great place to rest after a busy travel journey — the beds are comfortable, and all essential amenities are provided, including a mini fridge and microwave. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the city center and railway station. There's also a shared kitchen with basic facilities, which was very convenient. ”

“Loved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isn’t an elevator. I was up one flight of stairs but I probably wouldn’t have……
