Although we had a comfortable stay in the end, our check-in procedure was quite bumpy. We had booked a room several weeks in advance. We even received an email from the hotel (via Expedia) confirming details and some instructions how to get there by taxi from the airport etc. However when we arrived there the receptionist said our booking wasn't showing and she was worried that she didn't have a room for us as the hotel was almost full. Only after a while did she ask if our booking agent was through Expedia, did she find our booking. It seems that the hotel didn't hold our room for us (garden view) so instead they gave us a larger room. (Thank you but would have preferred the garden). There was a lengthy wait for check-in to the hotel of over forty minutes. So if you are using Expedia, please make sure to respond to the email and remind this host that you are coming. This hotel needs to upgrade its check in procedure so that it is faster.

I stayed in a ground floor unit, which had a door that opens onto the courtyard, which was nice, and convenient for wheeling luggage into the room from the parking area. One issue I found, for myself specifically, is there are decorative lights wrapped around trees in the courtyard which are quite bright. I don’t know when these lights are turned off, and they could have been on for the event taking place, but if you’re an early to bed person, and like to wake with the sun, these lights could be bothersome. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and relatively spacious, no odours to speak of, and the bed was comfortable. There is a bakery next door. The restaurant is open early, although I didn’t make use of the breakfast. The building is modern and well maintained, on a relatively quiet street, not near highways, with lots of convenient and free parking available. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The route to the airport is simple and quick, about 5 minutes to the car rental lot. You’d have to work at getting lost on your way to the airport.

The staff was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful stay, and the service really stood out. The night crew even arranged a taxi for us for the next day without us having to ask, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our travel day so much easier. Great hospitality, friendly staff, and a very pleasant experience overall. We’ll definitely stay at Eprespark Hotel again whenever we’re flying through Budapest. Highly recommend!

My room was as it said, but the walls are thin I could hear other guests throughout the evening. There's a barking dog woke me up at dawn, I mentioned it to the reception they knew it was a problem. Breakfast was awful and there was no one to help. No tea no hot water.

Great place to stay if your goal is just to get immediately to the airport. We had to leave at 5 AM for the airport and were able to conveniently get an Uber and were there in 5 minutes. The staff was friendly during check in! Only complaints were a visible hair on the bathroom floor which led to doubts about how clean the room was and that the rooms are not sound proof as advertised. There was a loud wedding beneath our room (this part is not affecting my review as I was contacted in advance to either upgrade my room to a quieter part of the hotel or cancel my stay), but even with the palpable bass of that music, I could still hear people casually hanging out in the hallway and entering/ exiting their rooms. I’m a heavy sleeper and was able to get over it, but if you’re a light sleeper I’d keep the noise levels in mind.

Misschien andere kamer adviseren

The room was nice, the beds were comfortable. The AC was pre-set and the client cannot do anything about it. The parking was not ideal the night of our arrival as there was a very loud concert taking place outside so we had to wait until all the guests cleared out to park closer to the hotel. We were flying out at 6am and had to leave the hotel at 3:30am. There was no coffee in the rooms--something we would have greatly appreciated, and, at this price point, it should be provided. We probably would not stay here again, but if you have few other options, it's ok.

standing shower was well shrink where it was hard to even move or keep heating the glass wall. To get into shower and come our no space at all. Lucky we were not that big of a people , size wise to have trouble. Nothing in this area near bye , which was open for dinner. Being Sunday, most places were closed for the evening. City center is far away from the property. Ambiance was great, with outdoor restaurant. Thanks, N Shah

I’d like to share my experience staying at this hotel. The main problem was the very poor soundproofing. While I was sleeping, a large group of tourists arrived at around 3:00 a.m. They were walking very loudly through the hallway and woke me up. I could hear everything through the door—they were talking loudly, moving their luggage around, and as a result I was unable to get a proper night’s sleep.
