Have stayed here a few times. Always friendly staff and great people. The rooms are starting to show their age. But it’s just that. Age! I’m sure they’ll get some renovations going at some point. The rooms are clean, well equipped and the cleaning staff are great. Treat them with the upmost respect. Thank you for another great stay.

Beautiful and Historic building located in a beautiful quiet city sqaure, but it has great transport links with tram, bus and metro stops all a 5 to 10 minute walk awey.

The property is located in a good area for transport and airport bus. There are extensive roadworks going on around the whole property and this would make it inaccessible for any disabled. Staff were efficient, but not particularly friendly. Breakfast area not cheery, and food was a little disappointing with cold scrambled eggs, and generally a lack of choice. Room was well equipped, but very overlooked from apartments opposite. Good choice of restaurants around with some beautiful streets near by. Hopefully standards will improve, but generally not a hotel I am likely to return to.

Construction works on both street sides are extensive, dangerous and badly marked by the company carrying out the work, and no signage assistance from the hotel. On the last day of our stay, someone had placed a pallet between pavement and deep road excavations. Health and safety considerations appear to be non existent. On the basis this is improving the area and will eventually be completed, I will be happy to recommend the hotel to friends and family. In the meantime, works are likely to continue for, probably 4 weeks from until mid or end of April 2024.

At the time of our visit, roadworks were taking place all around the hotel making access less than perfect. (Once finished, the square in which the hotel sits will be very pretty). The staff were very friendly and helpful but, despite the grand entrance, the hotel lacks communal seating areas and other amenities. There are, however, plenty of good restaurants within easy reach. The express bus to the airport is, also, only a short walk away.

Family of four stayed in adjoined rooms. Good hotel. Lots of eating options around. Long distance from attractions but Bolt is cheap so we walked to the attractions and took Bolt back. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe neighbourhood. Maintenance right outside the hotel while we were visiting. Nice breakfast but expensive. Juice and coffee available all the time free of charge. Our room was on the 6th floor and the thermostat was set to 25 degrees and the maintenance couldn’t do anything about it. I could feel the gush of warm air. The hotel gladly offered us new rooms but there was no door in between so we turned the thermostat off and opened the window. Also, no cold water in the shower. We could still take a shower but it wasn’t comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, great service, perfect temperature and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. The only negative is the decor, such a beautiful and historical building should have been kept in keeping and traditional not made modern.

Hi the hotel itself was lovely but unfortunately during my stay the road at the entrance was all dug up and there was no safety measures put in to allow u to leave or enter the hotel. U had to walk through dirt and rubble which wasn't ideal .

The hotel is in a great location with just a short walk to the centre of Budapest. Staff were extremely helpful. It was very clean and chic. Will definitely return to this hotel when I’m next in Budapest.

A great hotel in a very nice area of Budapest. A few charming little restaurants within walking distance and close to public transport routes. Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. My only complaint is the beds are a little hard, but that’s just my opinion. I would recommend!

C’est un bel hôtel dans l’ensemble, cependant il est important de souligner que les chambres sont un peu petite. - la chambre que j’ai occupé n’était pas très bien nettoyé il y avait des miettes ainsi que des taches collantes sur la table de chevet. - le lavabo n’évacuait pas bien l’eau tellement il y avait beaucoup de cheveux au fond. - l’insonorisation n’est pas terrible et on entend tout ce qui se passe dans le couloir ainsi que dans les chambres à côté. - le mot de passe du wifi n’est pas affiché de façon clair on a du le demande plusieurs fois à la réception, ce qui est assez désagréable quand on arrive d’un long voyage. Mis à part ça, c’est un hôtel qui reste très beau, le personne y est très aimable et il est très bien situé.

A lovely hotel. Perhaps not in the absolute most central part of the general tourist experience, but a nice part of the VIII district and conveniently located in any case. Facilities are great and the staff in general are very nice. Housekeeping was outstanding.

Bel hôtel situé dans un quartier calme pas trop éloigné des lieux à visiter. La chambre nous a paru petite, pas de coffre-fort. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas top (jus de fruit chimique, peu de choix). Le personnel est serviable et disponible.

Hotellet ligger i en flot bygning, fint i standsat. Vores værelse havde alle fornødenheder og var stille fredeligt. Dejligt med gratis (og god) kaffe, en gratis flaske vand ville nok have været overkommeligt. Gode restaurenter i området og tæt på alt.
