Honestly Perfect Stay

Fantastic hotel. I stayed twice here on my way in and out of Budapest and both times were excellent. Friendly/helpful staff, immaculately clean rooms, good design, amazing amenities (rooftop jacuzzi & sauna!) and excellent breakfast. I would gladly come back here the next time I am in Budapest.

Excellent spacious rooms with some cooking equipments if you wish to make a meal. Lots of restaurants and takeaways nearby. Good for family with kids as they can have their own space. Nice breakfast. Short distance from Danube river and attractions reachable by taxi or public transport. Walkable to City park and Szchenyi spa. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Will definitely recommend.

Spacious room with a kitchen and fridge, perfect for a week or even longer for those who prefer not to go to a restaurant for every meal. I ended up not finding the time try the gym and health facilities. The location was a bit further from the office or city center locations and i ended up doing se veral long walks, which was nice. Good breakfast, everything was clean, friendly staff.

Nice location, not too loud but still near city center with metro or bus just a few stops. Great rooms, clean and comfortable. Sweet staff, ready to help you with whatever you need. Breakfast of food quality and enough variation to satisfy anyone. We would definitely go here again if going to Budapest.

We enjoyed our stay at Onyx Luxury Budapest. The hotel was within walking distance from everywhere. The hotel staff was really nice and welcoming. The little details makes a difference to better hotels. Also sauna might need a clean up.

The check in/check out was fast. Parking garage under the hotel. The hotel is new and modern. Very clean and smells amazing!! The rooms are phenomenal!!! Amazing hotel

Stunning hotel, lovely location. Amazing park just a few hundred yards away. Staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Beautiful roof wellness centre and great gym. Food lovely and fab cocktails. Would highly recommend this hotel over any of the bigger chain hotels to anyone, families, couples, business, singles. This hotel changed our time away after staying at another in Budapest for a few days before coming to this one. Thanks you.

The staff are very professional here, very kind and care about the guests, i really loved this hotel, its very beautiful building and the rooms are great, they have even heater if you wanna cook your own food, and water boiler etc, feels like a hotel and a home at the same time in a good way, the only thing is it feels like the hotel is kind of wrong placed, the building is beautiful but the neighbourhood and buildings around it were not very nice, but its not the most important , because you still go and explore the other parts of the city. 10/10 staff, 10/10 room, and the breakfast has a variety of different foods its very good food and i like that the eggs were different everyday and there was different types of eggs.

Hotel staff were really nice and accommodating, central location for baths and sightseeing (in between the park and river). Breakfast was good nice selection. Only downfall there were some loud guests at 3am for over an hour. As the reception isn’t manned at 4am we knocked on there room ourselves. We did call reception to see if it went to a person to contact but it didn’t. Only downfall, sad as it was out of the hotels hands but a staff member in the evenings could have resolved this. Day time staff were wonderful though!

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Clean and not too busy too. There isn't a huge amount in the immediate vicinity, although you are under 5 mins from a main metro station and a 15min walk into the Jewish quarter. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning for the whole building was turned to "heat only" in every room despite it being warm and sunny every day. There was therefore no AC during our stay, which made sleep less comfortable.

Not much dining options. The smell of the jacuzzi wasn’t nice, that’s why we didn’t use it (for compensastion) Breakfast was the same every day. Since we are now allowed to eat beef and pork there wasn’t much choice. The chicken was on the same counter as the pork and the was one tool to use for both, not separately unfortunately. The staff was very nice and everything you wanted the give to you.
