“Easy and understandable directions. Quite and very clean place. It is a place to eat simple meals. But it could use a microwave. It was an appropriate for our visit we used mainly to sleep and shower. Would stay in future visits.”

“There’s a speakeasy right below the apartment. Patrons weren’t quiet and whom ever was closing didn’t know how to close the door. They kept slamming it to try shutting it. Light sleepers be forewarned. Otherwise, great place.”

“The welcome and walk through as well as the private parking and the way it was our own spot but walking distance to everything. We loved it we would stay there again. Grezyna, was warm and welcoming and had wonderful coffee, chocolates, sparkling cherry apple drink(we don’t like champagne) and beautiful roses as well as a card to celebrate our 34th anniversary. All I can say is awesome.”

“Upon arriving- smelled like an abandoned house, the floors were oddly sticky, dirty bath towels sitting on top of the washer, food bits in the sink, toilet doesn't properly flush. Pillows smelled like actual scalp, the only redeeming part is bed was decent, and there are televisions. Everything just felt incredibly unclean. Unfortunately deceiving listing. “The entry and parking for the unit is in the rear of CVS, next door to the market place. Was difficult to locate at first. Upon entry to building the odor from the market place is overwhelming, especially the elevator smells like expired milk. Upon arrival to the unit, we were satisfied with overall appearance. However, it is not luxury as described. Any more than 2 adults would be crowded for me. That first evening, the heating didn’t work properly but came on at 7am and was comfortable for the……

“This little cottage was perfect to visit family in Solvang. Short walk to downtown. Clean.The only improvements I might mention is a curtain for the entry door and less of whatever room spray they use as it was overwhelming and made our clothes smell like room deodorant. We never received the door code so I had to track down the host, not sure what happened but it worked out fine.”

“Fabulous view setting, superb privacy. Excellent introduction to the many treasures of the Santa Barbara ranch and wine Country. I swam in the pool, warm enough for a Dutchman in April, but a solar heating system for the pool is a much needed upgrade for most others.”

“We had a wonderful stay celebrating a family member's 30th birthday. The house had everything we needed on a rainy weekend - cozy sofa, game room, well-equipped kitchen and incredible views. It is close enough to wineries and the cute towns of Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang while still feeling like you are out in the countryside. The beds were comfy and the entire house was spotless. Highly recommend!”

The place had privacy from the main house and backyard that made the stay more comfortable than it already was based on its cleanliness and amenities.
