「Clean basic rooms with friendly staff.」

「This is a very quaint little motel that brings me back to my childhood or maybe even a time before I was born. The older gentleman working the front desk was friendly and helpful. Although we didn’t use them, a pool and miniature golf course were available. The breakfast was a little sparse but still good. My only complaint would be the placement of the AC unit in the room. The thermostat was set to 72 (and it felt much warmer) when we arrived and it took hours to cool the room down as the unit...

「Our room had a noisy bathroom fan and the bathroom light bulb went out later. The front desk man who cheerfully carried our luggage upstairs to our room was prompt in taking care of our request. Overall, the hotel needs a refresh. To sum it up, I would find another hotel to stay at.」

「Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good for a hotel. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star was the desk clerk during check in was not very friendly or welcoming. No smile at all.」

「Such a great Lodge! So glad I found this gem. Would definitely stay there again. Beautiful location with a “view” of GW & TJ on Mount Rushmore. About a 2 minute drive to the monument. Large area for kids to play in the evening and a fire pit to cozy around in the evenings. We had a delicious burger in the restaurant in the evening. The breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast. The only negative I would have is that the rooms are not very soundproof. And definitely ask for an upstairs...

「The 2 EV chargers are in the parking lot. This was a game changer for exploring each day. And they were free! Restaurant was OUTSTANDING! They serve Breakfast Lunch and Dinner.」

「The hotel is located right in Keystone. There is a gas station and a few places to eat. The hotel is convenient and clean, though the rooms are small and do not have a view - they look at a rock wall. The breakfast is okay. Our room was near the indoor pool, which isn't closed off from the hallways but closes at 10pm.」

「Unplug and reset!! We stayed in the stargazer tent and it as very cool! The location/view was fantastic. The tents were so clean and well kept. The whole site was quiet during sleeping hours which we really appreciated. The staff was very nice and check-in/out was a breeze. Anything we needed the staff was able to provide quickly and even did so without asking for things we didn't notice. Food from the restaurant was nice, cleaner eating and very welcomed after eating on the road/fast food prior...
