For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. Amazing little place, with beautiful surroundings. Easy to get a taxi to and from the centre of San Ignacio. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. We were sad to leave.

Stunning grounds, along the river. Peaceful and well off the beaten path. Gorgeous pool, and our room felt like a honeymoon suit. The staff are super friendly, and totally attentive. The on site restaurant was excellent, and also priced very well.We will return.

Mike and the made our stay delightful. It was so nice waking up to the jungle and having breakfast looking over the river. Highly recommend for a chill and rustic stay.
