This house is fantastic! Without a doubt the 2 highlights were the enclosed porch who h had gorgeous airflow and zero bugs, and where we ate almost every meal, and the water access. The toddlers had a blast playing in the sand and floating in the shallow water which was perfect for kids! We did ask if we can jump off the dock prior to our arrival and were told yes but water is only about 5’ deep at the dock so we only let the little kids!We had a few issues with cleanliness, like oily drops on the kitchen floor, fruit flies in the kitchen, but nothing that significantly affected our trip. Overall we would definitely stay again!

Memorial Weekend Stay

My family and I were very impressed when we arrived at the house. This house is absolutely stunning. Very clean and decorated so beautifully. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed all the water toys available. The fire fit was very nice when the chillier evenings approached. My favorite however was the sunroom and the cozy fireplace in it. It was a very relaxing stay and would love to return again soon.

Beautiful Location and View

Had some trouble with entry code not working but host was very quick to help. The ice bin was empty and we were told to just give it a little time, but no ice appeared until the next day. A bag of ice should be provided when the ice maker is empty. Surface cleaning was great but after a day there we saw that deep cleaning doesn’t get done. Porch cushions are covered with stains, windows are filled with green mold and rugs didn’t look like they’ve been cleaned for awhile. Deck chairs need to be deep cleaned at least once a year. We expect to have to wipe down outdoor furniture but these were grossly dirty. No one wanted to sit on them. The layout of the house is great and most kitchen needs were there except no colander. The grill should be replaced. It doesn’t work well. If you like a lot of boat and jet ski activity, you’ll be sure to see and hear it here. Lots of outdoor furniture and a simple dock to accommodate a boat. We’d stay here again. We loved the house but the cleaning issues kept us from giving five stars.

Beautiful home

This is a lovely home with so many amenities inside and outside to make it a perfect getaway. There is a gas fire place inside and outside on the screened-in porch, a firepit outside, board games inside and kayaks for the lake. The home itself is perfect for a family get together. The great room/kitchen area is perfect to hangout and cook together.

Incredible lakefront home

What a wonderful place for are early family Thanksgiving! Clean, well-maintained home with beautiful porches and balconies overlooking the lake! Toys and games for the kids were a big hit! The weather was nice enough for us to enjoy the kayaks and the paddle boat. Firepit was also enjoyed by all! The best part was having a dining room large enough for all of us to eat together! Just a perfect place!

Great Family vacation home

My family and friends stayed here for a long weekend. It was easy to find and a great spot to hang out. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in porch with fire place. The house was well stocked with games, movies & books! Our kids enjoyed the popcorn maker, kayaks and making smores in the outdoor fire pit. plenty of space for multiple families. Would stay here again.

Relaxing!

This house was perfect for two families! We had 5 children between the ages of 3-9, 4 adults. We had plenty of room and things to do. The lake was beautiful and the house had a perfect view! Beds are super comfortable! We would definitely come back! One thing to note, the screened in porch was not clean upon arrival. It was covered in pollen (table tops were yellow), food wrappers, and even some old food. The pillows were everywhere so I am guessing the cleaning staff was not asked to clean out there. The pillows definitely need to be washed, they had a lot of spilled food stains. The rest of the house was pristine! It was a lovely vacation and we are so grateful for our relaxing weekend!!

Lakefront paradise

Loved this home. Beautiful decor and newly built/renovated everything felt new and fresh. The indoor/outdoor fireplaces were the best. We kayaked one day but then turned very windy. Looking forward to coming back in the spring/summer. Kitchen has everything you need!

On buttons were met.

We had 4 couples that are like family. Beautiful view. Variety of interest met. Used all of the house, the beach and dock. Tavern on The Rail has great food and ambience. 15 minutes away. Pendleton Golf Club, 30 minutes away. Guys caught fish in the lake. Great place to relax and get reenergized.

Beautiful house, horrible customer service

We spent a lovely three nights at this property with three generations of my family. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and very family friendly. However, my assigned customer service rep was completely unresponsive. There was a very loud alarm coming from the septic system for about ten hours. As we had no cellular reception at the house, we emailed customer service and got back responses saying they’d contact the local property manager, who we never heard from. None of us could skew the last night because of the loudness of the alarm and no compensation was offered for this.

Great week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home! The large kitchen and dining area made entertaining easy. The screen porch is huge! Big enough for comfy outdoor couches and a large square dining area for up to 12 people! We loved the puzzles and games provided, as well as extra tv and couches in lower level for video games. The undercounter beverage fridge in kitchen is super helpful for a large group as well.

Amazing!

Everything about this home on the lake was amazing! Cleanliness is super important to me and it couldn’t have been better. The decor was outstanding and went perfectly with the lake theme. I woke up every morning and felt so at peace when I looked out onto the lake. The view never got old. We really appreciated having the amenities that were offered - kayaks, paddle boat, fire pit, indoor and outdoor games - we used them all! And I can’t say enough of how great the screened in porch and fireplace were. Just perfect. We had a gathering of family from the east and west coast and it was absolutely the perfect spot for it. So many wonderful memories were made. We will most certainly rent this home again, if we don’t buy our own home at Lake Anna first!

Kitchen full of ants, poor maintenance, mgmt company didn’t respond

Texted the management company upon arrival of issues (ants, missing fan remote, bathroom door won’t shut let alone lock, “change filter light on”for both a brita pitcher (only source of filtered water) and ice machine- pitcher was gross/not cleaned in I don’t know how many visits. Kitchen faucet partially broken (but functional). 3 days later, after sending another text, did I get a response/phone call asking if they could send out “a technician”. We were leaving the next morning. Response from mgmt company: sorry, we just missed it. No offer of partial refund for cleaning fee etc. Also, supplied w the cheapest roll of paper towels known to man - they disintegrated when you wet them. Extremely disappointed.

Entry code and fireplace issues

On arrival the entry code did not work. Prop. mgr. Briana very helpful in eventually providing an alternate entry code. One of the two fireplaces did not work on arrival. Service tech arrived a day later but was unable to fix. Supervisor Michelle promised to compensate us for loss of this amenity but have not heard back. Very disappointing since this prevented us from using the outside screen porch on chilly evenings. I'm looking for fair compensation for loss of this large gathering room and lack of one of the two fireplaces included with this home.

Nice getaway

Property is located on the lake as described and we had a great time. Heating was broken on one of the floor. After we contacted property manager, they fixed it next day. However, they did not disclose that dishwasher was broken and was nonfunctional. It would have been nicer to have a functional dishwasher so that we do not have to wash after every meal. Overall experience was nice and would consider it for a future vacation.

Beautiful home

Loved everything about the property! My favorite was the screened in porch which allowed us to enjoy being outside without the bugs. The paddle boat and canoes were amazing…. So peaceful on the water! And loved that there were enough pots, pans and utensils to cook meals for the group!

Perfect Lake getaway

This property is gorgeously furnished and offers a lot of space. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids (3-7yo), though you could fit more people. It’s on a beautiful lot right at the lake with easy and shallow access to the water, perfect also for little kids. There are 2 single & 1 double canoes and a paddle boat for guest to use. Also great spot for fishing. Only 2 negative remarks: the outdoor gas fireplace on the screened porch did not work the whole weekend, we were in touch with property mgmt and they sent by a handyman but he couldn’t fix it. Which was super annoying. Especially as already other reviews mentioned they had issues with the fireplace and I think the owners should get it checked and fixed. Also the indoor fireplace couldn’t be used yet, despite we were there the 1st weekend of September. 2nd: the kitchen desperately needs more water and wine glasses. A house that can accommodate 10 people needs more drink ware. Other than that we had an awesome time at this gorgeous property and wouldn’t definitely book it again. The house was also very clean, only the floors on the entry level were still dirty and I had to vacuum them upon our arrival, luckily they have several vacuums in the laundry room.

Lake Anna

The house at Lake Anna was everything we hoped and more. It was absolutely gorgeous and very well stocked. Being able to dock our boat and go out on the lake numerous times every day was a bonus. After reading, after our trip, about the lake temp, we had no idea it would be that warm. A few days it was 99 degrees, definitely not refreshing. We were scheduled to depart on Sunday so Saturday evening the guys went to put our boat on our trailer but with the storms that week it was literally impossible to get our boat out. I contacted management and they were not helpful at all. We were at the point that we started looking at homes near us that were able to pull boat out on their property since the loading area was not an option at all. It wouldn’t take much maintenance to make the loading dock usable but clearly with the storm it wasn’t. We were very disappointed in the lack of help or recommendations to be able to get our boat out

Nice home on the warm side

We couldn’t find a home rental in the cool side of the lake which was unfortunate but were able to find this home on the warm side near the dam. The house was nice and modern and featured a very large screened porch with gas log fireplace which we all liked. The furniture cushions in that room were way too thin and uncomfortable though. The beds were really comfortable on the other hand and the great room furniture was fine as well. The kitchen was outfitted with everything needed for baking or cooking with lots of plastic options for kid proof usage. One really nice feature was a large under counter fridge to keep beverages cold and to conserve space in the fridge. There was plenty of seating for meals inside and also lots for enjoying the outdoors. There were lots of games with a Nintendo wi downstairs which came in handy as well. The water temp at this house was ver warm….about 100 degrees warm which deterred adult swims but didn’t stop the kids from spending time in the water. The paddle boat was not fun and got very little attention. A paddle board would have been much more fun. Kayaks were available for use both a two up and two singles. The water was very shallow and only about three ft at the end of the pier which is about thirty feet out from shore. The lawn out back was large enough for our badminton set and for the house provided bocce game that we enjoyed. Lots of Adirondack chairs out back to chill out in and enjoy the setting sun each day. There’s a fire pit out back but we didn’t use it preferring to use the gas logs in the screen porch for browning our marshmallows for s’mores. The 65 in tv hung above the main fireplace in the great room was used a bunch to watch the summer olympics. We longed for access to Disney plus but no luck. Dish network popped off during a summer storm. Appliances were up to snuff with no complaints. Air conditioning worked well throughout the home. Parking was adequate for our three cars and could accommodate a fourth easily. All in all a nice rental home if the warm side of the lake is acceptable for you. We kept our boat at Pleasant Landing for the week and enjoyed the cool side of the lake daily which was ideal.
