Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. 「Sehr solides, gepflegtes Hotel in zentraler Ortslage. Stift und alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Ort ist auf Touristen sehr gut eingestellt, nicht nur gastronomisch, sondern auch mit vielen Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. 「Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop.」

「Eine tolle Ferienwohnung, aus der wir gar nicht mehr ausziehen wollten. Viele liebevolle Details und eine tolle Ausstattung, alles was man braucht. Herrlich war auch der kleine eigene Garten, herrlich für ein Frühstück, für dass wir in der nahen Gleisserei viele leckere Zutaten fanden. Ein herrliches Fleckchen!」

「If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.」

「Great place to stay, extremelly clean, well arranged, friendly staff and ready to help. Very good restaurant, not too many options but they are changing the menu completelly on a daily basis! So for sure you will find someting new each time when you'll attend. The food quality is very good, starting from breakfast to dinner. Room impecably clean, everything very well maintained. 「Unserer Meinung nach ideal gelegen in Krems. Fußläufig ist die Altstadt und die Kunstmeile leicht erreichbar. Modernes Hotel mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten! 「A nice hotel, right by the train station. Possibly a bit overpriced. I enjoyed the terrace, although other guests were smoking right near by and it filled our room and drove us off :-/ Otherwise a good stay.」
