15 minutes east of Lake Geneva, right on the water with the best view on Browns Lake! 400 crystal clear, spring fed acres--you can boat, tube, swim, fish, sail or ice fish, ice skate, sled, and ski. (Just 15 minutes from Wilmont Mountain). Totally remodeled summer 2025, a 3,200+ sq foot addition. Beautiful hardwood floors, dry sauna and fireplace. Six bedrooms, 2 with king beds, 4 queen beds, twin bunk beds, plus semi-private kids' bunk room with 2 twins, the cottage sleeps 14. With 4 1/2 full baths and a family room on each level, it is perfect for 3 families! Take in the beautiful view on one of three decks. Also added a 19x12 screened in porch/4 season room with heaters. Bring your boat and dock it at our pier where you can catch champion bass and pike. Canoe available for family fun. Sit around the stone fire pit at night! Public golf course and tennis are minutes away. Fully equipped and remodeled expansive kitchen featuring a grand island. A/c, 2 washers & dryers, plasma TVs with roku cable and grill with gas provided, bed and bath linens provided. Located in friendly Burlington, Wisconsin--the Chocolate City--home to Nestle. You can smell the chocolate when you're on the water! Shop and dine in the quaint downtown.

Labor Day!

We had a great weekend on Browns Lake celebrating Labor Day weekend and a 50th birthday. We enjoyed the sunrises, canoeing, kayaking and hanging out by the fire-pit. Definitely would consider staying again if we are back in the area!

Clean & Inviting Lakefront Retreat

We loved this cozy lakefront getaway for our group of 6. Charming decor, spacious rooms, comfy beds, plenty of towels, and gorgeous lake views! The owner was pleasant and quick to respond when we needed help locating the WiFi password. Overall an easy-breezy fun stay that is listed among our favorite VRBO properties to return to!

Browns Lake

The house was fantastic. All the amenities are clean updated and suited for a large group. The owners really know what is needed and care about making sure your trip is awesome. We will back for a summer trip soon. Wonderful time!!

Family Wedding

This property was perfect for our family while we were up in Burlington for a family wedding. Brown's lake is clean and beautiful. Our kids enjoyed fishing and canoeing. Plenty of room for all our family.

Great house on pretty lake. House has a fully stocked kitchen , games , puzzles , music and more . We spent a few nights with family Christmas week. Would like to stay there in the summer , the beach area looks great!

Burlington Return

My kids and I lived in Burlington for 22 years. It was fun to return to the Browns Lake Neighborhood that we use to call home. We saw old friends and the grandkids swam everyday. My 3 yr old granddaughter says she is going to live in Burlington forever

Best way to stay with a group!

We really enjoyed our stay. We came in for a wedding and had our family and some friends. View is spectacular, perfectly set up kitchen with all the things you need, beds were all comfy and the bedding was very nice. Love the big square table for games! The town was cute and lots of options for eating. lots of parking and easy to find. Thanks for sharing your home!

Excellent home and stay

We had a great stay at the house: two couples and four kids under the age of five. The house was perfectly set up for our group, with plenty of space and indoor/outdoor areas. The place was spotless, beds were comfortable, and linens were abundant - made for an easy settling in. There are also grocery stores and a solid number of restaurants in and around Burlington, so we hardly had to drive.

Family get Away/Family Wedding

What a wonderful stay! Our nephew was getting married so this home was perfect for our family. Being so close to the venue was a huge plus. We have adult children late 20s early 30s so the extra space was fantastic. Plenty of room for all of us. Everything was clean well stocked. The beds were super comfy. The BEST of Browns Lake!!!

We were married October 13th - the groom and groomsmen stayed here during the weekend. They were obsessed with how amazing this home is. There is a sauna, an upper deck, a patio, a pool table..so many different areas in the home that can be used. The layout is really neat, it is beautifully furnished/decorated (pictures don’t do it justice!!), and could accommodate the whole group very comfortably. Tammy was responsive and very kind. Price was more than fair. My whole family was so impressed and will use this vrbo in the future and will recommend it to everyone we know! It was the best decision we made all weekend. Thank you!

Great Quiet Lake Trip

We’re a family of four with a 2.5 YO and a 1 YO. My parents also joined us for this trip and we had a blast. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and condiments. They had a booster seat and a portacrib which were also super helpful with the little ones. We were able to use a trunk as a gate in the living room for my 1 YO which also made things really easy as we kid proofed the upstairs. Everything worked great, from the grill and sauna, to the fire pit and outdoor furniture. We loved having access to a canoe. My husband was in his element in the canoe and my 2YO loved it too. We have blowup kayaks as well and bought some cheap tubes for chilling on the water. All around it was a great time and we all enjoyed ourselves.

Hoefle stay at the Lake View home on Browns Lake

Family vacation, my wife, my daughter, son and their families. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. Kitchen was a bit small but cozy, great view of the lake. The beach and swimming, not possible due to all the weeds, that is kind of a bummer. We would not let the kids jump off the pier because of the weeds. The weeds did make the fishing amazing. We have a 5 year old boy and a 7 year old girl that will never forget fishing on Browns Lake. Even us older guys caught many nice bass off the pier. The extra size of the pier made things really nice, we spent a lot of time on the pier. We were cramped for parking at the premises but the folks at Fisher Park let us keep a boat and a vehicle in their lot, that worked out ok. We may come back for the fishing.

Lakeside perfection

My family and I stayed at Tammy's home on Browns Lake to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. Our family had a home on the lake for nearly 100 years before my grandparents had to sell and my parents were married at their home. So, to be back on the lake was a dream come true. And the cherry on top? Staying in Tammy's house. The home is very well-situated on the lake and offers all that you'd want in a lake home---a well-stocked home, a lovely patio with unimpeded views of the lake, and plenty of seating on the pier to be able to dry off from swimming or enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises over the lake. It was such a well-equipped home that we wanted for nothing and it allowed us to be able to spend as much time in the water or behind a boat as possible. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to in the coming years. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home so that we could spend time together in one of our favorite places on earth. What a way to celebrate our folks and all of our memories!

Great house with great attention to detail and quality everywhere. Tammy was super easy to work with and helpful. Some things were not super obvious to figure out but we managed and got everything we needed. Boat rental was smooth and worthwhile, but the lake was super weedy, requiring frequent de-weeding stops. Fishing from the pier was also a bit challenging because of weeds but the kids still had fun and caught some small northern pike, bass, and panfish.

Amazing lake home

This home on Brown’s Lake checks every box. It is spacious with plenty of space for 12 of us (9 adults and 3 kids) to spread out. The newly remodeled kitchen is amazing (nicer than mine at home) and has every dish, pot, pan or utensil you could ever need. A screened-in 3 season room is off the kitchen with wonderful views of the lake. There are two master bedrooms, but all of the bedrooms are spacious and are located near bathrooms that are lovely. Everyone in our group had their own space and were very comfortable. There is a Weber gas grill that we used every night, and a wonderful fire pit located on the lower deck. We brought our own boat and the lake is perfect for water skiing and tubing because it isn’t crowded. We had a fantastic vacation. No one wanted to leave.
