The Old Lantern inn felt like a home from home. Lisa, the owner is so friendly and the inn itself is beautiful and situated in park-like grounds. The room we stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The dining / sitting area downstairs is beautifully laid out and the perfect place to relax, eat the continental breakfast provided, chat to fellow guests, read or play games. The outside seating area is shaded and another beautiful spot and so peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here so much.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. There are only 8 rooms in the inn and it has a family feel. Guests seem to really enjoy talking to other guests & sharing local information. If you stay here, you will absolutely not be disappointed!

This Inn was adequate ! The room was small and dated. No tv in the room. Lisa was very nice and we only saw her once which was when we arrived. They don’t advertise a full breakfast but offer coffee, yogurt and cereal . The area around the in is very pretty!
