Bedroom
Downstairs, the cabin offers a peaceful bedroom with a queen-size bed, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of outdoor fun. Upstairs, the loft features a queen bed and two twin beds, creating an open and inviting sleeping area ideal for families or friends to rest and recharge.

Bathroom
The main-floor bathroom comes stocked with fresh towels and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, ensuring a stress-free and comfortable stay.

Kitchen, Dining, and Living Area
The open kitchen, dining, and living area form the heart of the cabin. This cozy space is designed for preparing meals, sharing stories, and enjoying time together. Large windows let in natural light and showcase the stunning waterfront views, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside.

✍️ A quick signature on ExcapeAway’s rental agreement is required before check-in.
🔑 Self check-in. We kindly ask that you arrive before 9 PM so we can assist you if you need anything.
💧 Water info: Our filtered well water is safe to drink, but feel free to bring bottled water if you prefer.
🔒 Your safety comes first: Exterior cameras are located on the Maine House overlooking the parking lot and lakeside of the Lodge.
🚗 Maine Roads: Snowy and unpaved rural roads and driveways are part of the Maine experience! An all-wheel drive car is highly recommended.
🏡 Cabin companions: You might see an insect or two indoors—just part of the authentic lakeside experience!

Amenities were great. Property was clean and quiet. Perfect for teens. Great view of the lake. Updated kitchen and grill was great for making family meals. Enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit. Kayaks were so much fun.

Perfect little family getaway

The beach was exactly what I was searching for and made this our winning choice for a family vacation especially for our little kids. It was very quiet and comfortable even though there’s a whole line of cabins along the beach, which I didn’t realize when booking but turned out just fine! The AC didn’t circulate well upstairs but we were brought a fan right away and after that it was perfect. We would absolutely come back!

Very chill. Very clean :)

Starting off with the only thing we didn’t like: not a good swimming area. You have to go out pretty far and there is a bit of vegetation to step through. Other than that, it was excellent. There are kayaks which really rocked. 10 minutes away from a store. Many cooking accessories we did not expect. Super clean. New build. Overall def worth it!

Read Me! It’s worth the stay.

So, rarely are properties listed accurately. It’s something the renter must face once the car is loaded up and everything is planned. This property is the exception! When the listing says on the beach it means it. If I gingerly tossed a stone out the front door it would hit sand. Sand mind you, we are not talking about the rocky shorelines we have grown to love. The beach sprawls a good 100 yards and is well kept. Leading out a god ways waist high so the water is fair. The cabin is a new construction. So the cabin is planned out well with all the amenities needed all you have to do is add in relaxation. I have well over 50 stays in (other booking service) and a few on Verbo and tend to try to find unique places. This was one that not only didn’t disappoint but is at the top of my list!

Quaint with a View

Let me start with the view: oh what is it beautiful! A little regret that we came when the temperatures were still chilly, so we only took it in from the windows. But still! Just a lovely setting! The house was simple, but so well maintained. The kitchen had even more gear than I expected. Everything about it was comfortable. My college daughter liked having “her space” in the loft. The property owners were very responsive. For an individual, a couple or a small family looking for peace and quiet in comfortable environs, I would recommend it highly.

Lake Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We took advantage of the kayaks, had a fire and cooked on fire pit grate. We loved lake view. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Cute cottage great host

This property is completely as advertised. The beach was right outside the front door and the available kayaks made for leisurely afternoons on the water. We had issues with the shower curtain and the host came to replace it right away. Location is good to Augusta and Bar Harbour. Make time to head into Belfast and visit the town's along the coast. Our family of four had a great week here. If we ever come back to Maine I'd come back here.

Better than expected

My family including grandchildren and our dog had a great time at the lake. We loved how close the beach and lake was to the cabin. Kayaking was a blast! The setup was very pet friendly.
