Burhave is the heart of Butjadingen, Germany's largest holiday peninsula and lies directly on the Wadden Sea. Opposite Wilhelmshaven and Bremerhaven, between the Jade Bay and the Weser estuary, the marvellous beach is only a few minutes' walk from the Friesenstube. There are many good restaurants. Boutiques and souvenir shops invite you to browse. Minigolf, bowling alley, bicycle hire, banks, pharmacies, bakeries and shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity, and swimming fun is guaranteed in the North Sea lagoon on the beach, regardless of the tide. For water sports enthusiasts, the surf and kite school at the North Sea lagoon offers courses. The 3000m² play barn is ideal for children.
