Vila Franca House, former Mother House of the centenary Quinta de Vila Franca

Casa de Vila Franca is the old mother house of the centenary (1892) Quinta de Vila Franca. Inheritance of Carlos Silva and Conceição Teixeira, former owners, is now owned by the Silva Ferreira family, who recently decided to make it available to welcome guests.
The house offers a privileged view of the magnificent landscape of the river Tâmega and the vineyards of the property, providing the modest and calm of the rural territories of the Minho region.
It is a place that provides comfort, serenity, tranquility and rest conditions to enjoy nature. Simultaneously, the house is located about an hour from the main urban centers of the northern region (such as Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Vila Real or Chaves), with good access. It is within the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region and only about fifty kilometers from the Alto Douro Wine Region, the oldest wine region in the world and classified by UNESCO as an Intangible World Heritage Site.
Guests have at their disposal exclusively an excellent pool with natural lawn and a garden between the house and the gate of the property.
It is important to highlight the rich fauna and flora in the property and in the surroundings. The Tâmega River and the mouth of the Louredo River, about a hundred meters from the house, also reinforce the beauty of the Quinta and the views of the house. Also noteworthy are the old levadas of the irrigation system of the Quinta and the wine mills built in granite stones, as well as the vineyards and the magnificent walking paths they offer.
The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, 3 bedrooms, all with private bathroom and a service bathroom. It also has cable TV and internet.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au sein de la propriété de Vila Franca. Au calme, très belle vue sur les vignes, équipée d'une grande piscine. Nous en avons profité pour découvrir Porto, Amarante, Guimarez et sommes tombés sous le charme du Portugal. Propriétaires très à l'écoute et disponibles. Bonne continuation !

Nous avons passé quelques jours dans la propriété de Maria et c’était un plaisir . La Quinta est tres belle , grande et tres bien entretenu, vous ne manquerez de rien et chacun y trouvera un coin d’intimité. Nous étions avec 2 enfants en bas âge et aucun problèmes. A propriedade está inserida numa vasta quinta vinícola. A casa é toda em pedra fazendo-nos recuar no tempo para épocas de monarquia no século XIX, mas com todo o conforto do século XXI. A simpatia dos proprietários é de realçar. sempre com um sorriso quando nos viam e sempre disponíveis para qualquer coisas que necessitássemos. O ambiente é extremamente sossegado e longe da confusão das cidades.

El alojamiento es increíble. Por tamaño, por situación si buscas tranquilidad, por paisajes, por comodidad de habitaciones y baños, y qué decir de la piscina... increíble con las vistas a los viñedos. Hemos pasado unas vacaciones perfectas, algo a lo que también ha contribuido la amabilidad y disponibilidad de la familia si hemos necesitado cualquier cosa.
