Perfect base to explore the area

We stayed here to explore Karikari peninsula and all the beautiful beaches. Ninety mile beach, Houhora and surroundings. Perfect. And at the end of the day enjoy a nice fish and chips on the beach all within easy walking distance.

A very special experience. Solace coupled with a glorious beach close by. Peaceful place, didn’t want for anything. Pity l couldn't stay a day or 2 longer to really take it all in.

A microwave would be helpful and if you could stepping stones from the driveway to the deck would help to keep feet dry before entering house. Good otherwise.

A perfect wee bach!

The Miner's Cottage was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well appointed. The deck is an absolute bonus - we had all meals here, in sight of the sea. Property Manager David's communication was efficient and helpful.

Considerable road noise while sitting on the deck. Close to beach. Cleaning need a bit more attention in the cutlery drawer (crumse under utensils). Overall we were happy.

Tidy, small and contained, this property was very a relaxing place to be with a lovely seaview. It is a short walk to the beach. All neighbours were friendly too! Thank you to the property manager for taking care of us too!
