"Main complaint was the room wasn’t all that clean. Stains on the walls, liquid on horizontal surfaces, stains on the toilet seat, and just little cosmetic issues all over like improperly installed towel rack, cracks in the sink basin though no water leak. Also door locks are finicky, often I had to swipe my card around five times before it would let me in. The neighbor said the same thing.
All the amenities worked as they should’ve, so that’s a plus. Hot water, outlets and lights all worked, tv and remote worked, fast wifi.
Front desk employee is the owners son and talks a little much, doesn’t make eye contact, and hasn’t quite learned how to be hospitable but is very confident in his father’s business. Unfortunately he lied and told me I had a recently upgraded room with carpet, which I did not receive. Instead my nonsmoking room was filled with cigarette smoke smell.
For $80, it’s a functional motel 6 room."
