“This hotel/guest house is mainly a wedding venue but can be booked for individual stays. I was on a business trip and just needed a bed before an early start. Breakfast is provided in a little hamper and had plenty of good quality fruit, bread, danish etc which suited me better than a cooked breakfast at eg 7am because I was up and out by 6am. There was no human to check in but codes were provided for the main door and a key box for the room. Everything was clean and tasteful and it worked……
“Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water.
The parking is especially spacious for Wales!
Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot.
Friendly staff.
Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money.”
“Really quirky hotel with magnificent grand wood panelled staircase and stained glass windows.
Nice breakfast, sitting in a bright conservatory.
I will come again......”
“Very friendly staff. Had some issues communicating with the hotel via email and Expedia messages, but were able to quickly resolve issues by phone and in person. Beautiful old hotel with modern features in the heart of Aberdovey.”
“Very big family room.
Clean.
Modern furniture.
Outstanding views.
Breakfast was excellent (possibly best fresh fruit collection I've seen at a hotel for a long time).
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The only minor gripe was the wifi in the room was poor. However not a big issue which could easily be solved with a wifi extender.
Will look forward to returning.”
