I was initially disappointed to discover at check-in that this wasn’t a branded hotel operated accomodation - so I expected some hiccups, and they came. The wifi didn’t work: the situation went from no info, to wrong info, to wrong dongle, to no data, to finally a replacement. It took 3 days. Everything else in the apartment itself was quite amazing - absolutely anything I needed was available. Fully outfitted kitchen, washer & dryer, great TV, comfortable furniture and bed. There was one downside beyond control of the apartment’s operators: the pool area. It is dominated by an excruciatingly loud machinery noise which was almost totally non-stop. I recorded the output at 96 decibels - well outside safe guidelines. I used earplugs to cope, but mostly the pool went unused by anybody. Would I stay again? Yes, if that noise is attended to. It’s well-located, with a shopping mall opposite and the foreshore 10 minutes walk away - the actual apartment is excellent.
