Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff was very friendly and accommodating for any needs of the guests. The rooftop restaurant had a large selection of meal options and breakfast was great.
I found the cleanliness of the rooms to be questionable as the bed sheets were not changed between guest because hair was found in them and the washrooms lacked deep cleaning as well.
The location of the property was excellent right on the main Giza road. Great view of the pyramids.
I would recommend this hotel, but make sure to request clean bedding.
We arrived at the property on Monday 13th October, upon being checked in and entering our rooms we were faced with dirty rooms, no handwash or soap in the bathroom, the bathroom itself was filthy. There were no hangers to hang our clothes in the wardrobe, the floors in our room was sandy and felt like they had not been properly cleaned. The shower cubicle and floor was filthy and there was no phone in my room to call reception.
Upon complaining, they changed my room, which in all honesty was not much better. This hotel needs massive improvements, they can’t even grasp the concept of the basics like cleanliness. Hygiene and cleanliness is not their priority - and it really should be!
I had to ask for toilet paper every single day I was there during my seven night stay. If there had been availability at any other hotel nearby, I honestly would have checked out. This is the worst and the filthiest hotel I’ve stayed in.
The only two positives are the Chef Mohammed Ashraf always made us a decent breakfast and they have a consultant called Bilal Ahmed who is wonderful and trying to help them improve by taking on feedback from customers and relaying it back in the hope that improvements will be put in place.
The hotel is in need of a massive upgrade and improvement from both a health and safety perspective and hygiene and cleanliness standard. At the moment it fails both. The stairs have no banister, so if anyone tripped and fell, they would be seriously injured. 👎
