“We had a great stay, nice huge family table in the kitchen, nice fire pit and enjoyed the paddle boards and hanging out on the dock. Host was responsive. Would definitely go back”

“This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna.”

“Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. ”

“The location was excellent. Daryl was very responsive to all our inquiries. The only thing is that the play structure in the photos was no longer there and we had kids with us. Swimming was good except for the little ones as the shallow side was pretty weedy. Overall all of us loved the place and would recommend it. The fact that there were toys to play with for both adult and children was wonderful and we took advantage of the. Thanks Daryl for being a great host! It was a pleasure.”

“Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter. We have……

“I had a wonderful stay at Carla's property. The view of the lake was very nice and there were lots of activites to do. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. I would definitely come back again!”

“The cottage was great but extremely hot on plus 30days. Had problems with others keeping there dog on leash. We brougjt our dirt bikes and ATV. Very easy access to trails. We enjoyed our stay and will be back”

“Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Taina and Frank. The cottage is located on a small lake therefore there is not a lot of boat traffic which allows for the quietness. The cottage is cozy and quaint and has everything you could possibly need. We especially enjoyed the evening fires and watching the moon rise over Blueberry Mountain. The fishing was excellent especially right off the dock. Canoes, kayaks and SUP are all available should you desire. Taina and Frank are such gracious hosts……
