“A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the……

“Un havre de paix juste magniphique authentique agréable Très bon acceuil de Christophe Un grand merci”

“A beautiful place to stay, decorated tastefully and not overdone. My room was very attractive and although the mattress was firmer than I am used to I slept well. My view was over the valley but view from rooms facing this old village would also have been attractive. Efficient air conditioning greatly! Although small the garden was well maintained, as was the pool, and very quiet even at a busy weekend. Lovely sound of the water fall in the pool. Due to problems with my flights I arrived around……

“Très belles batiste, très belle chambre. Notre séjour a été cours mais très agréable.”

“un séjour exceptionnel, dans un endroit magnifique et parfaitement entretenu, avec des hôtes d'une gentillesse absolue, tout était parfait, la piscine est fantastique, le petit déjeuner servi avec beaucoup d'attentions bref ... une de mes meilleures experiences.”

“The room was noisy and we could hear people above. The food and staff were amazing.”

“Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead.”

“Charming lodgings in a charming town. This was probably my favorite stay in France. The furnishings and amenities are somewhat dated, but fully functional, clean, quiet, spacious, and charming. If you leave your window open you can fall asleep to the sound of the rushing water from the creek. We had a hard time communicating when we arrived (our French was very limited, as was the receptionist's English), but that's part of the fun. I would absolutely love to come back here and stay for a……

“A gem. Nestled in the countryside near Bergerac is this beautiful country house. We were only staying for one night as part of a longer trip, but next time we will surely stay for more nights. Pauline gave us a lovely tour on check-in. The room was spotless and air conditioned. We booked into the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The gardens were peaceful, with incredible views. During dinner we experienced an incredible thunderstorm, which was brilliant to……

“Benedict (front desk) very friendly, helpful. Good parking. Restaurant not available because of group.”

“It was very convenient for sightseeing. There is a public parking lot across the street as well as street parking. We were there in late September and it was easy to find parking.”

“Fabuleux ! Le personnel est d'une gentillesse et d'une amabilité extraordinaire ! Merci aussi aux hôtes, Chloé et Mathieu pour leur accueil et la tenue de leur établissement exemplaire. Et un big up à Mathieu pour la côte de bœuf au brasero juste magique !”
