Das Leahouse ist sehr geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es hat unserer Familie an nichts gefehlt, auch Sitzmöglichkeiten im Haus und aussen sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung und auch ist man schnell auf den größeren Straßen, um andere Ausgangspunkte zu erreichen. Für uns war es auch sehr positiv, dass es eine Garage 'im' Haus gibt und dass das Grundstück geschlossen ist. Das Inserat gibt Haus und Umgebung perfekt wider. Man kommt mit einem normalen Auto direkt auf das Grundstück.Sofern Französisch Betten für alle 'Paare' ok sind, bietet das Haus problemlos auch Platz für 6 Personen, zumal es drei vollständig ausgestattete Bäder gibt. Alles Super!

First connection with the island

Três bien située pour nos vacances,la tranquillité de l endroit nous a permis de faire ce que nous avions de prévu. Les commodités étaient proches et atteindre les points de visite sur l île se faisait sans encombres.

Wir waren jetzt zum 4. Mal im Leahouse und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Das Wetter war in diesem Jahr sehr kühl und unbest ändig mit viel Regen. Die Heizung, die seit 2024 eingebaut worden ist, hat uns die Situation aber deutlich leichter ertragen lassen.

Great house, fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is great. So much space and a well-equipped kitchen. It is very conveniently located, many restaurants etc. nearby and very short drive to the beach in Caleta. Very nice surroundings and very quiet at night. We loved the fireplace! Will definitely come again.

Familienurlaub für Wandern und Entspannen

Der Aufenthalt in dem Haus war sehr schön. Mit vier Personen ist das Haus sehr großzügig, hell und gut ausgestattet. Man hat genug Platz für alle und kann im großen Ess-/Wohnzimmer gemütliche Abende verbringen. Durch die Klimaanlage kann auch im Winter geheizt werden.Die Lage ist schön ruhig. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.Die Organisation zur Vermietung ist sehr einfach und freundlich.

Sehr schöner Ort, tolle Lage des Hauses

Der Ort liegt abseits von allem Trubel und genau das ist es was wir gesucht haben. Als Startpunkt für verschiedenen Wandertouren optimal, ein Auto war nur erforderlich um zum Startpunkt zu kommen. Der Supermarkt im Ort war für uns ausreichend, dass Restaurant an der Tankstelle mit seinen typischen portugiesischen Gerichten, den tollen Weinen und dem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang können wir allen nur ans Herz legen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !! Wer allerdings Party, Unterhaltung und Ausgehmöglichkeiten, Shoppingerlebnisse sucht ist hier falsch. Die Natur, die Ruhe liegt im Vordergrund und das muss man mögen. Eine rundum wunderschöne Woche und das Haus war sauber, toll ausgestattet, gute Beschreibungen und Tipps vom Vermieter, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, vielleicht dann in das Nachbargebäude mit Pool ?

Cozy and calm

We had a fantastic stay at the house. Good cleaning and The house was exactly as described in photos. We had car during our stay and had it parked in the garage. We also loved the area and neighbourhood. Cozy small restaurants and cafees in the area. Defenitly would book this again. Communication was very good with the host.

Alles was man braucht…

Wir haben das Haus in einem sehr sauberen und voll ausgestatteten Zustand vorgefunden. Die Kommunikation mit Cátia war jederzeit zufriedenstellend und äußerst freundlich. Die Lage ist top, um die Nord-/, West- und Südküste zu erreichen. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

South Madeira Idyll

Lovely small town of Prazeres with multiple excellent restaurants and a lovely well appointed house. Very clean & spacious for the 4 of us with outside space for relaxing in the evening. Air Con was a blessing ! One improvement would be a more modern smart TV to access Netflix etc especially for the youngsters, other than this its perfect.

Heel ruim huis,van alle gemakken voorzien! Beschrijving van internet klopt.Buiten verschillende plekken om van de zon te genieten met terrasmeubilair en zelfs twee ligbedden met kussens. Klein gemoedelijk dorpje met enkele restaurantjes en een supermarkt. Auto wel nodig als je iets van Madeira wilt zien. Parkeren op de oprit van het huis, met hek ervoor desgewenst zelfs in garage! Mooie plek om vakantie te houden.

Die Laage des Hauses ist gut um Madeira gut zu bereisen

Gutes Haus es war ein schöner Urlaub Ausstattung der Küchengeräte in der Küche war gut. Einzig das Bett war ein bisschen hart.

Prachtig huis in rustige omgeving

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en is zeer mooi gebouwd. Parkeren kan op eigen terrein of in de eigen garage zonder dat je steile beklimmingen hebt. Vanuit het huis is ‘s avonds de zonsondergang heel mooi te zien boven de Atlantische oceaan. Rondom het huis zijn zitjes gecreëerd zodat je altijd wel een geschikt plekje vindt. Vanaf deze zitjes is het uitzicht vrij beperkt omdat het gehele terrein omheind is met een muur/glas afwisselend hoog en laag. Jammer is het dat deze mooie woning niet echt over een tuin beschikt. De drie slaapkamers en drie badkamers maken dat het zeker ook een huis is voor meerdere personen. Op loopafstand vind je een supermarkt, restaurants en cafés en levada’s. Wij hebben genoten van onze vakantie in dit mooie huis op een mooie plek.

Traumhaftes Feriendomizil

Wir waren vom Check-in über den gesamten Aufenthalt bis zur Abreise rundum zufrieden. Das Haus hat ein sehr schönes geräumiges Ambiente, von der Garage gelangt man mit den Einkäufen direkt in die Küche und Abstellkammer. Küche und Waschraum sind mit hochwertigen Geräten ausgestattet, alles ist top sauber. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und man hat die Möglichkeit direkt zu Wanderungen zu starten und trotzdem hat es auch eine gute Verkehrsanbindung. Nachts war es wunderbar ruhig und der Kamin hat uns manch gemütlichen Abend beschert. Schön wären ab und zu 1, 2 deutsche Fernsehsender für das Abendprogramm aber wir haben die gut ausgestattete kleine mehrsprachige Hausbibliothek in Kombination mit einem guten Madeirawein als Tagesausklang genossen. Wir können dieses Kleinod nur weiterempfehlen und werden es auch gern für unseren nächsten und 5. Madeira Urlaub buchen. Elke und Marcel

Schöner Wanderurlaub

Das Haus ist geräumig und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb vom Massentourismus. Wir haben nichts vermisst, da unser Focus auf Wanderung und Fotografie lag. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit.

Un bon séjour

Très bon séjour dans cette maison conforme à l'annonce. État propre, place de stationnement intérieur, tout le confort nécessaire. Draps et torchons fournis. L'environnement est calme sauf quelques chiens et chats la nuit. Une petite épicerie avec juste des produits de base, est à 3mn en voiture. Un peu loin pour les "picos". Bonne communication avec les propriétaires mais seulement par internet.

Our come back to Madeira Island

This was our third time at LEAHOUSE. It is very spacious for two people. There is everything you need if you want to cater for yourself. Communication with Catia is very smooth. She responds very quickly and always helps when necessary. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the accommodation.

Great, modern base for hiking

We chose this beautiful modern house for a few days of relaxation and exploration after an intense work trip and it was good. The house is modern and clean and comfortable. The furniture new and nice and all appliances the same. There are huge doors you can slide open to bring the outside in and comfortable outdoor furniture. The town is about as rural as you can find on this surprisingly populated island and we enjoyed exploring the coffee shops and local hikes. Easy to get here from anywhere on the island with a car. There are a few things could be improved to make it feel more like a home and less like leftovers from someone else’s house. There were only 2 bowls and no cutting board. Otherwise, the kitchen was well equipped. It would be great to have some basics like olive oil, basic spices and laundry detergent but maybe past visitors have abused things like this. The beds are rock hard - 1 the hardest I’ve ever felt, the smallest reasonable so we slept in there after the first uncomfortable night. There not being any heating except for additional pay was surprising, especially since it was cranking when we arrived. Then we never turned it n again after reading the instruction book. The arrival instruction were sent as PDFs that opened as lots of code and nothing readable. We waited a while after arriving to receive a code for the lock box after trying to call text and email through the app. Everything was fine after that but I feel like we missed some info.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Die bisherigen Kommentare zur ruhigen Lage und Ausstattung können wir nur bestätigen. Im Februar hatten wir ein paar kalte Tage erwischt, aber die Räume ließen sich mit den Split-Klimageräten hinreichend erwärmen. Beim nächsten Madeira-Besuch kommen wir gerne wieder!
