The villa is nice, is ample, and is 250 m². It has views of waterfront and the mountain.

The property is located 500 m from trenet train station, 500 m from autobus de la estacion bus station, 2 km from RESTAURANTES from the restaurant, 2 km from playa del arenal sand beach, 2 km from calpe centro city, 2 km from mercadona supermarket, 5 km from PEÑON DE IFACH nature reserve, 11 km from ALTEA CLUB GOLF golf course, 16 km from FAMILY PARK amusement park / theme park, 30 km from AQUALANDIA water park, 60 km from ALTET-ALICANTE airport, 120 km from MANISES-VALENCIA airport. The house is situated in a family-friendly neighborhood next to the sea.

Overall happy, but the office is 2.2m away - and to be asked to take passports etc down during your holiday is a little bit poor - when landing on a weekend and the office is closed, surely the use of technology is the best option providing the client with the best experience- we waisted precious time away from family to comply with this ‘old school’ request. Applying for passports can be done virtually and therefore so should this process… other issues - light bulbs not working within bedrooms and bathrooms - table tennis table has seen better days and this needs sorting vs that of the marketing- ie as sold! Fridge door in kitchen does not close! Jacuzzi not particularly clean……. However the outside provides a lovely view over the town…. The pool is lovely and the villa with little investment could be 5 star all day - some little touches, that’s all could make this place outstanding - we had a great time - lovely break in the sun using the pool….and accommodation - air-con also in some key areas did nit work

Calpe, Villa Malie - May 2025

My family and I were really looking forward to our summer holiday for this year in this idylic location near the lovely resort of Calpe, Spain.We had seen the wonderful photographs on your website showing this villa in absolute splendour.Unfortunately, some of the furniture has been removed or rearranged. The kitchen in particular, is looking tired and dated. We had problems opening/closing shutters in several rooms.Some Indoor dining chairs were rickety. Some outdoor loungers and chairs were downright dangerous. See photos for details. We had no WiFi for the whole week, efforts to inform agent went unheeded at first, then it was not possible to fix the problem until after we had left! With five teenage children with on-line homework to complete - this was a major issue. These problems should have been noticed and rectified before our arrival.This property should be checked before allowing guest to use.One photograph on the website showed a Table tennis table on the balcony. This seems to have disappeared.Lovely location marred by shoddy management issues. Would not recommend to others .We booked last years holiday to Menorca using VRBO, but for next years trip, we may need to look elsewhere.
The website photo does not show the location looking like this. The Jacuzzi was positioned where the loungers are now positioned. A semi circular shaded seating area is shown on the website.
This outdoor 3-seater settee is downright dangerous!
A bodged attempt to repair the seat liner was crudely secured with wire with sharp edges.
This plastic lounger is not fit for purpose, but was left for someone to use.

Relax and enjoy the peace and the sunshine in style

We had a lovely holiday in Casa Malie. It has an outstanding position with fantastic views down to Calp from the brilliant pool-side terrace. The house is very comfortable, secure and well equipped (though perhaps some of the kitchen equipment needs updating.) we were an extended family of ten (ranging in age between 9 and 68) and there was plenty of room for us all. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with very efficient air conditioning. The cooking facilities are good, and the lounge very smart and a nice place to relax. There is a fine L shaped and enclosed terrace and a well ventilated washing and drying room upstairs. of course, we spent much of our two weeks there outside. There is a good barbecue and a shaded dining area. The pool of course is at the heart of this villa and it is an excellent facility. It is regularly maintained and is spotlessly clean. It is deep at one end and illuminated in the night time. An important thing about the villa is that whilst it is very close to all the facilities of Calp, it is very peaceful. It is quite high and sometimes there is a breeze but that was often most welcome! You are ten minutes from good supermarkets and the fantastic promenades and beaches and naturally there is a wide choice of restaurants and bars. I know that if you book this villa you will not be disappointed. The only additional thing you need to be aware of is that the road outside is extremely steep and the drive is too. You will get used to it - but be careful when you first arrive!
